Cope Tests Positive for Steroids

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has found that lightweight Kit Cope (Pictures) tested positive for the banned anabolic steroid Boldenone following his stoppage loss to Rob McCullough (Pictures) on Jan. 20, the Wrestling Observer reported Thursday.
Cope and McCullough headlined the first Zuffa-promoted World Extreme Cagefighting card at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. A respected Thai boxer, the 29-year-old Cope's transition to mixed martial arts has been a difficult one, taking just one victory in five fights.
Boldenone, popularly known as Equipose, is an anabolic steroid developed for veterinary use, particularly in the treatment of horses.

lol ugh... i guess in this case it wasnt performance enhancing steroids considering his performance was horrible yet again lol....
please please get out of MMA, i cant stand listening or watching this guy

Such a shame. I guess we should get used to this though. With the sport building the way it is, there's more incentive for fighters to take these kinds of risks.

MMAweekly is reporting that Kit admitted to taking Boldenone.
"Contacted by MMAWeekly’s Damon Martin, Cope did admit to having used Boldenone, stating that it was for medicinal purposes to held speed his recovery following a surgery to repair his shoulder."

too bad this guys got an ego problem, I think he could be a good fighter when it comes to muay thai he is one of the best in the world I saw his fight when he went to thai land and fought bare nuckle and won he just is absolutely horrible at mma.
