Default trying to lose weight and build muscle.

allright now i am 5'10 256 pounds.trying to tone up my frame and lose the fat around my gut.for starters i bought some tetrazine 50 to cut the fat and creatine to build up the muscle and strenght and taking whey protein shakes.ok i just started back hitting the weights a couple of months ago but little changes so i was wonder if i started taking the supplements would make a drastic change or what.the tetrazane 3xday before meals, whey 2xday,and creatine starting 5x day for week and 45 min before and after workout.the second part of question is it a problem taking these supplement together or a hour or so apart.ANY RESPONSE APPERRIATED.

Diet makes the biggest difference. I would change up your diet if you havn't yet before you get into supplements. I think the best book out there for what you are wanting to do would be the "Abs Diet".

From what I have seen it is very hard to both lose weight and build muscle. I think creatine helps you to retain weight so therefore it might seem more difficult to accomplish your goals. But I am sure sitnspin has a better response for you.

honestly at that height and weight you should have plenty of muscle already.. you should focus solely on cardio and diet... losing about 30lbs and see how you feel and look then... at that point you can focus more on building muscle.... for now, high rep low weight, a healthy diet spread out over the day, and no bad foods late at night... run, bike, do whatever you can and be patient... i think you should start there

Throw out the tetrazine 50, unless you plan to stay on it for the rest of your life. Instead you should be making permanent changes to your diet in order to lose fat and raise your metabolism. The best work is done without shortcuts -- you have to actually burn the weight off and adopt the sort of lifestyle that will keep it off.

Stay active, drink a lot of water, and base your meals around these 12 superfoods:

Why did you buy those supplements, honestly you have all the tools you need to achieve results, all ya need is some determination.

Sit is right, if you don't change your diet, i don't care if your taking steroids, you wont get results, diet is so important.

Building muscle while losing fat...good luck, your trying to do dead opposites, to lose fat you need cal depleted diet, to build muscle you need more calories.

Creatine is fine, but it will retain water to you body, which is all it does is put water to your muscles and give you a puffy look, that is it. It will also make you heavier on the scale.

My advice, get some multi's, leave the other stuff alone get your diet in check then worry about supplements.

your information of creatine is outdated. Creatine in newer forms does not lead to the same side effects that users sometimes experienced with Creatine Monohydrate. Creatine Ethyl Ester is one of the newer forms that people are saying great things about and its been found to be safe and effective when combined with a solid diet and exercise program. does anyone need creatine? of course not, but if your competing against people who are then you might want to seriously consider trying it.

yeah, creatine monohydrate is old news, its dirt cheap and still works so its great for people without lots of cash for extra supplements. The Creatine Ethyl Ester i mentioned costs more but you have to use less with no loading phase. some people don't respond to creatine at all and you might fall into that category if you have'nt noticed any significant gains using it.

Well i have used the CEE before, just wasn't aware of the changes in it.

Mainly when i use it, i notice some pump while lifting and after, but other then that i really never see anything noticeable come from it.

Even the old creatine i never really saw anything from that **** either.

i don't imagine you'd really notice anything from creatine in the form of more pump in the muscles. its really just helping replenish ATP in your muscles. the more ATp you have in your muscles the harder you should be able to work out. it might be that little added edge you need to get that 10th rep or hit a personal best in the bench. i have always said that people who choose to use creatine should really be in tune with their lifting patterns by keeping track of everything in a log book. Creatine alone does'nt do anything to make your muscles grow, its Creatine's ability to allow you to workout that much harder that should reward you with increased strength and mass. then again, you may just be a nonresponder, not everyone reacts the same to creatine supplementation.

what were you expecting to see in terms of gains using creatine? its proven to work in 90% of users, from olympic level sprinters to MMA fighters. are you taking the right dosage? are you using it with a transport system or by itself? its entirely possible that you just don't respond to it but you'd be the exception rather than the rule.
