Default Recovery Supplements

We've all thought about using supplements. Usually our decisions are based on what is popular in the bodybuilding world. Certainly the supplements that add inches to arms are best. Or are they? Adding lean mass is important to some fighters, but what about fighters bound by weight classes? They'd benefit most from supplements that speed recovery as opposed to those that only promise incredible gains in lean mass. What supplements to take if thats the case? Glutamine should be on the list, but does anyone have any other recommendations.

Taking a calcium / magnesium supplement is not only needed for recovery but is criticial for muscle contraction and relaxation ( the two phases of movement )

Glutamine is one of the must have supplements according "Strength and Conditioning for the Modern Gladiator". daily dosage ranges from 5grams a day up to 20grams+ a day.
L-Glutamine

You know, for the most part I just stick with good ol' fashion Whey protein, glutamine and maybe a light carb. Creatine's ok and helps, but definetly isn't a must have. I also split a vitamin and take half in the am and half in the pm., and 2 400 vit E, 1000+ vit C 2x, L argine, L carnitine, 2 baby aspirins, L lysine, Dhea 2x and fish oil.
