Default Creatine Pills vs. Creatine Powder

Hey Sitspin if you read this you will prob have something good to say, lol. I was wondering which you guys prefer. Creatine Powder or Creatine Pills? There are many forms of creatine out there and I am wondering what works the best. I have taken the NoxCg 3 and that stuff worked, that was a powder. Now I am taking some thing called Creatine Dt2 and that stuff just started kicking in, but I am seeing more results with the pills. The DT2 is a pill and you have to take six of them after working out and you at least have to consume 2 liters of water a day.

i use both, there is Creatine Mono powder in my preworkout drink and postworkout i take CEE in pill form. i prefer the CEE in pill form but have noticed no bad side effects from monohydrate form. they both work, but i like the CEE better, its a pill so its easy and convenient. 2-3g a day is all you need with no loading phase.

I've never taken creatine in pill form. In general, I prefer my supplements in powder or liquid.

Back in the day i took creatine monohydrate pills, it was horrible. I ended up burping up white powder if I didn't down about a gallon of water with them. The stuff I'm currently using is monohydrate powder, usually mixed with apple juice or in with my protein shake. I'm not familiar with CEE pills, but I've heard a lot of people singing their praises and will probably give them a shot when I finish this bottle of mono powder.

Where at? Did you order online or purchase in a store?

Bodybuilding Supplements - Supplements 101

There's a lot of good online sites where you can find high quality supplements cheap.

Awesome, thank you. My only worry is I'm not as knowledgable as alot of people on here about supplements, especially creatine and if there are any brands I need to stay away from. If anyone has any feedback on that I'd appreciate it.

I use mostly muscletech products (Nitro-tech, cell-tech, etc.) but I've also used the regular old GNC generic stuff as well (they make a pretty high quality product, IMO). I'm sure lots of people here use different brands and can give you info from personal experience. Ask some of the people you work out with or the bigger guys you see at your gym. Check out some bodybuilding forums or just ask one of the guys at GNC what the best product for your particular goal is and then buy it cheaper online.

I got my CEE in the mail today, it says on the bottle to take two caplets in the morning and then two in the afternoon but I was reading on a supplement info site that CEE is best taken after a workout. What if I can't workout in teh afternoon? Should I wait to take the second serving till after I work out?

Also, I was wondering if anyone who takes CEE really drinks 10 8oz glasses of water, I did it today and I pissed a total of 9 times. 4 were in the span of 2 hours. Is it really necessary to drink that much water?

Yes. You want to drink a lot of water when you're taking creatine, but you want to drink a lot when you're working out regularly anyway. You don't need to drink it all at once, though. Have a few glasses of water when you take the creatine, and then just have one every hour or two throughout the day.

if your on any sort of protein powder along with creatine it is very important to drink all that water. otherwise, you run the risk of overtaxing your kidneys. active people should drink at least a gallon of water a day anyhow. i know that when i work out i consume at least 40oz. of water just in one hours time. the pissing thing does get annoying, having to go every hour when your at work can be a pain.
