a protein powder should be fine and i have even heard that Creatine is now OK for people as young as 13. of course its all worthless if your regular diet is'nt good. you also need to have a sound workout program to see the most benefit from your supplements. basically anything that you read regarding workout programs can be applied to you, with the exception of very heavy freeweights and advanced plyometrics. you should see improvements within a few weeks and once you hit 16 or so you can expect even better gains.

I know when I was a kid funds were limited. Walmart has a decent whey protein powder...I think it's something like 2 lbs for $15. Chicken breasts, tuna, salmon, egg whites, skim milk, and peanut butter (in moderation) all have loads of protein too. You should consume about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight or no less than 1/2 gram per pound of weight. And drink about an ounce of water per pound as well in a day.

yup smashing hit it.. keep in mind though that alot of the foods you eat will have alot of protein in it... even things you wouldnt think of... however the protein powder is fine at that age (make sure you are active on a regular basis though)
no need for creatine... when your a junior or senior in HS you can look into it, but your body produces plenty of it where your at now, so no need
