favorite brands/favorite recipies anyone?

Right now I am kicking back some Tito's.. any Texan on here should go to Austin.. visit the Tito's distillery.. and score some free schwag. Tasty stuff too.. a rich yet mellow taste. My favorite though is Stolichnaya. I like some Finlandia too, gotta represent that Vittu gooner.

Of course, Grey Goose, but out of all of the vodkas I have had, Stoli has the most unique flavor, almost earthy, and a distinct texture.

By far the worst vodka ever is Gilbeys. It comes in nothing but plastic jugs. Nuff said.

Good choice too Rush.. do you like any of the flavored Absolute? Gives me one hell of a hangover but some orange Absolute once in a while is WONDERFUL.

Yeah, my friend Bri up in NRH made me drink a TON of that last time I was in the metroplex.. thank the heavens it didnt give me a hangover.. a 5'4 girl outdrank me.

Here's one for you to try with the orange vodka.. ever made Orange Julius? Try adding vodka to it to taste.. beware though, with the extra sugars in it, it WILL make you sick should you overdo it.

I'm primarily a vodka drinker. I generally drink Stoli and Soda water. The best vodka i've had though is Stoli Elit. Very smooth. A little on the expensive side though. I want to try a new vodka called SV supreme. apparently it's a Russian vodka that is distilled 14 times.

Vanilla Stoli and Coke to sit and sip at home from time to time. Grey Goose when I'm at one of my brother's bars, ofter in the form of a screwdriver. I like beer, but Vodka is my first and only love.

Hard liquor always gets me a hell of a hangover.
And the whole night is pretty much blacked out.

With beer it's bits and pieces missing here and there, with hard liquor the blackout begins at point A and ends at point B.

So I only drink hard stuff when it's free.

And I can't really differentiate that much between their tastes...

smirnoff is the biggest seller in the UK of vodka, but i dont like vodka myself only time iv drank it was in the smirnoff VIP tent at a music festival, and that was cocktails.

im a lager man myself or the occasional pint of guinness.

i was always an Absolute drinker, its not too expensive but it also does'nt qualify as cheap. i liked it ice cold with cranberry juice.

Ironic, as beer always gives me a hangover and leaves me feeling like crap the next day while vodka never does give me a hangover and never has, and trust me, I have dranken enough to DESERVE a killer hangover.

thats why i drank Vodka, less likely to give you a killer hangover than other types of alcohol. of course not all Vodka is created equal and i am sure the cheaper varieties will leave you looking for a bottle of Tylenol the next morning. as a general rule i always avoided any Vodka that came in a plastic jug.

i love lager also, but i always have pounding head next day after lager, with vodka i tend not too. also drink vodka redbull alott lately but its not nicest but a good deal on it in bar where i live, wake up with bad shakes then thou.

I was at my friends house Saturday until 4am drinkking some damn whiskey called Black Label. I almost never drink hard liquor, but there were some women there fairly attractive who dared me, so I threw a few shots back and it really f'd me up.

The only Vodka I've ever tried was Absolut Vodka, when i was like 19, and I threw up for about a month. Thta's why I never drinkt he hard stuff. Call me a woose, send me to alcohol hell, but I'm just a straight piss/beer drinker unless a cute girl dares me.

Johnnie Walker Black Label. Meh, not a big whiskey drinker. My dad is from Kentucky and loves whiskey of all sorts.

Trust me, when a hard liquor (i guess that Johnny Walker stuff is expensive), tastes worse than St. Ides or COrona?

That's a bad liquor that spells trouble

Unless of course some nice women are around as was the case, so I didnt mind the Black Label
