My girlfriend had that a couple of weeks ago. It lasted for like 3 days. It got so bad that she was going to go see a doctor about it, but then it just went away.

Can be caused by stress.. I get them when I am about to snap at simple minded m-fers at work.. I call it an eyegasm.
I think they are related to high blood pressure sometimes, with me at least.

I don't know what a chit is, but good luck getting it to stop twitching.
The twitchy eye can be related to dehydration, stress (as Aika mentioned), or strain from too much reading, driving, TV, or staring at the computer.
Of course it could actually be a medical problem, so if it doesn't get better, see a doctor.

I knew a girl who had that twitch, went to her MD, and the MD laughed and said "It's stress".
She reduced her stress and has not had the twitch ever since.

Isn't it strange that so far this was MasonJennifer's one and only post on FightForum? It doesn't even seem like spam, but what a strange place to go for medical advice that has nothing to do with MMA.

I just realized that, and its very strange. Better here than Sherdog, though.
