I have always had very good professional contacts with U.S. attorney's in my career and Giuliani was one of the best and also one of the best mayors of a once drug infested crime ridden city.
I'm not gonna vote for him just because of 9/11 or because he did well with New York City getting cleaned up. I have always been a fan of his legal career vs the Gambino crime family, his interpretations of The RICO statutes and an overall very aggressive career as U.S. attorney. I'd like to see how someone like that could go about running the country.
He also did an oustanding job de-corrupting (is that a word), city government. From the police to sanitation, to illegal union tactics. Giuliani was fearless and extremely harsh in punishing tne bringing to justice those that once corrupted many aspects of one of the largest cities in the United States.
With all the nonsense with corruption in this current administration. Some house cleaning is in order. Giuliani has vast experience with cleaning house.

Giuliani is a little too liberal socially. When it comes to politicians though, it is always between a douche and a turd. Giuliani.

i have always been a democrat and after watching the last debate, i didnt like any of them... obama has good ideas but is horrible at public speaking.... clinton is well spoken with no ideas to fix the future.. Giuliani is proven and a popular pick but he hasnt done much campaigning yet... i try to follow the issues and i dont really know what he stands for... who knows

Heh.. in all seriousness though, both parties have a transitional canidate at best.. I can't stand Clinton (unless its Bill), shadowy past (true mind behind whitewater), more flip flops than an old circuitboard.

I haven't decided yet. I vote Democrat usually though. Just going to follow the campaigns and go from there.

Haha, no wonder you "wish death upon me", mops.
You think Giuliani is too much of a liberal douche.
I just think he's a douche, period.
Surely the Repubs can't keep the presidency after this one?
How could they have possibly screwed up any more than this?
You gotta draw the line somewhere, America.
But you probably won't... and I blame Matt Hughes.

As an outsider looking in..Obama,Edwards seem alright. Hillary? God no..she's creepy. unless rumored she attended the Bilderburg meeting, she'll win
Read a lot about Ron Paul..kinda radical but sometimes an overhaul is good for a messed up system.
Looking forward to the Indecision '08 team to cover this clusterfu*k..

Guliani is liberal on social issues, but he did clean New York up and handled the 9-11 disaster very well. I chose him out of the bunch. None of the canidates are really wowing me at this time.

I have a sick feeling that this election year will be dirtier than most. Hillary and Bill alone have enough dirty laundry to make Mr Clean grow hair.
And Giuliani apparently puts X in XXX rated when it comes to adultery, divorce, etc.
Could be a very entertaining election year. I love election years. I mean I love them. Even if my guy loses, I just find it awesome that there are people on this earth that lie 10000000 times more than the worst liars in normal life.

Dennis Kucinich. I've gotten to meet him before, really nice guy, I think he'd make a great president.

I like Ron Paul, but I don't think he has a shot in hell of getting the nomination. I agree with Aika about most of these candidates being transitional, and I agree with Gooner about the Republicans. These have been some of the most radical Republicans since the Reconstruction era.

i don't like politics in general. I have always felt that anyone who tries to make a career out of making other people believe they have the skills to lead a town, state or nation is'nt the person i want making decisions for me. Its to the point where these politicians will do anything and say anything to get elected for another term or to ensure that they get money for thier next campaign. They'll all crooked and corrupt and even the few guys that don't fit the above profile don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected. people have simply accepted that they have to vote for the lesser of two evils. so saying that, i am voting for Tony Starks who will bring NHB to the masses.
