its most likely she will not be allowed to fight. Its probably written into her contract. She gets hurt fighting and she can't perform as a Gladiator.
This will likely have ZERO effect on her fighting status and contract with EliteXC. The American Gladiator show has been rushed into production to fill prime time TV timeslots that will be empty due to the writers strike currently hampering the television industry. Gina is not the primary gladiator as they have a bunch of bodybuilders and fitness champs as the other female gladiators. She will almost definitely be one of the smaller of the gladiators. The complete production for about 22 episodes will last 1 month maximum.
She'll still get her 2-3 fights a year.
