Layer Cake
10/10 one of the best movies i've seen in awhile. Daniel Craig is a really good actor, this was just before the bond movie too.

yeah good movie!
Disturbia - it was okay. The concept was pretty cool but was somewhat disappointed...but still enjoyed it.

the godfather II
i thought that it lacked much purpose. eg. all the flashback scenes of vito were really cool but there wasnt much point to them. and i felt that michael's storyline was a bit disjointed. i am searching for things to criticise though and it was still obviously a great film

I watched Kingdom of Heaven on the weekend.
6/10. It's too long and quite boring at times.

3:10 to Yuma, good movie. I've been watching all the Best Picture nominees becaue I only have seen No country for Old Men.
I notice that all the best picture nominee movies were about Good vs Evil moral dilemnas which was interesting. Michael CLayton was about a bad guy ultimately doing the right thing. 3:10 to Yuma was the same thing. Gone Baby Gone was about what is right vs what is just. And I've yet to see There Will Be Blood, but I'll venture a good guess that it's the same theme
No COuntry For Old M en was simply about an evil man who sticks with his nature no matter what. And an average man running away from that Evil man, and good people chasing both of them.
Great Academy Award Nominees for last year. A refreshing change cause so far these movies were all solid IMO

Does your Soul have a Cold? 8/10 Not only touches on depression and the cultural differences of mental illness in a shame based rather than guilt based society, but goes into depth on how there was not even a word for 'depression' in japan until big pharma stateside CREATED ONE, ustu, and then begin a MASSIVE marketing push to get more people hooked on thier placebos.

Superbad
9/10 Love this movie, it's refreshing to see a good Rated R comedy after all these PG-13 retarded teen humor movies.

Schumacher, arguably the greatest F1 driver to ever grace this earth?
