I recently watched this as well. Not Jack Black's best performance compared to "Nacho Libre" or "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny" both of which are very funny. I also watched the Jack Black and Ben Stiller comedy ENVY and did'nt find anything envious about it.
School of Rock 6/10
Nacho Libre 7/10
Tenacious D and the POD 8/10
ENVY 4/10

another older film "Identity" with John Cusack and Ray Liotta.
A pretty good thriller the first time i watched it, but its one of those films that has a catch. That once you know it there is almost no point in watching it again. Which is probably why i keep falling asleep while i try to rewatch it.

4/10 is generous for When a Stranger Calls imo. I though it was one of the worst movies I have seen. No real explanation as to how the guy gets in the house all of the sudden and nothing really happens!

i also saw "Dragon Wars". They plot takes a long time to get moving. The first 30 minutes in spent explaining the ancient Korean legend of the Imoogi. What follows is a strange mix of a huge snake creature terrorizing a city while it looks for some magical item but somehow goes unnoticed for quite awhile. It ends with a battle of Dragons that is pretty good. I was'nt overly impressed but was more so when i found out the movie was made for pennies.

3:10 to Yuma - 9/10 Excellent movie. Russell Crowe and Christian Baile were bad ass as usual. One of the best westerns I've seen.
Juno - 9/10 Another Excellent movie. A little high on the estrogen levels but it was a very good, very funny movie. Even for a so called chick flick.
Hitman - 3/10 Was expecting alot more from the movie. Could have been an amazing movie, but just didnt preform to par. Acting was cheezy. Only 3 reasons I gave it a 3:
- Nice boobs
- Nice Guns
- Nice special effects

For the record, I usually don't like horror films.

Just saw Old Boy again (for the 9th time), still as good as the first 9/10. I also saw The Pursuit of Happyness and i thought it was pretty good. I thought it deserved 8.5/10
By the way has anyone seen There Will Be Blood, i really want to see it. Let me know.

catch me if you can
most people arent always with me on this but im actually fans of leonardo dicaprio and tom hanks. i thought leo's character was extremely likeable and most of the cons were entertaining, despite not being mind blowingly creative or intelligent. i thought the scene where he pretneded to be the secret service agent to tom hanks was excellent. it just needed to be a bit more original and exciting, and perhaps have gone into more depth with tom hanks' character.

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters--10/10. It's a documentary, but a writer could not have done a better job. It's about 2 guys vying for The Donkey Kong high score. Sound lame? Trust me; it isn't.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil - 8.5/10 Richard Pryor as a blind man and Gene Wilder is deaf. Incredibly funny movie of circumstances.
Kiss the Girls (No, not a porn)- 7/10 Not bad. Wife wouldn't watch it until she knew I wasn't going out of town on business.

Sunshine - 9/10
I just really loved this film. Alot of people knock the last 1/4 of the film and especially the ending. I have no idea what was wrong with the ending but yeah that last part of the film does seem to have it switch roles. It was still good but just the first part I thought was so good. Overall I really really liked it even though there was room for improvement.
