Yes, they were. Too bad they're on so many MUST SEE lists. They should combine them all into one movie, "The Superbad Knocked Up 40 Year Old Virgin"
Coming Summer of 2008
Starring all the same actors

Ok, short review..

Shoguns Shadow
6.5/10

Great action, paper thin plot. A giant action film with great stunts and effects but lacking otherwise. Gotta take .5 points away from what would have been a 7 for the terrible music that does not fit the theme of the film nor the era of the film at all. However.. it will get stuck in your head and annoy you for hours apon end after the films conclusion.

(Sorry, couldnt find a subtitled trailer and too lazy to rip one off the DVD)

I finally watched the rest of Fast Food Nation. I liked the first half. Didn't really care for the second half. I guess they tried to shock you at the end by showing a meat packing kill floor, but killing and cleaning animals has never been a pretty thing to see.

4/10

Saw Alien vs Predator 2 last night.

The camera angles make it hard to see a lot of the movie and there isn't much of a plot.

3/10

I thought Superbad was funny. I like 40-year Old Virgin better and didn't care all that much for Knocked Up.

I don't like all of his stuff but can appreciate Apatow's humor - all the way back to Freaks and Geeks.

I watched No Country for Old Men last night. The story was good but the ending was confusing and borderline horrible.

6.5/10

Puddle Cruiser - This was Broken lizard Productions first movie. They were the group that made Supertroopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest. I had high expectations going into this movie, but it was pretty bad. I was expecting a lot of laughs, but there were only a few funny moments. Overall I give it a 3/10.
