Epic Movie, nothing epic about it. Probably one of the worst parody movies i've seen. 2/10

The Naked Mile. It was on Comedy Central over the weekend. I guess I'm on a silly movie kick lately. It was okay...had some funny parts with the midgets and all but not something I'd watch again.
5.5/10
Man of the Year. I like Christopher Walken and Robin Williams is usually pretty funny but I think I expected a little more - the making fun of politicians and the political process is always good (and oh so deserved).

I do recall seeing one that was pretty cool. A father murders his wife with a dumbell and then puts her in the trunk of his car drives off and is eventually caught. He's in jail awaiting trial and his parents, convinced he's innocent move into the house where the crime took place. They get settled into bed the first night and when they turn off the lights all the bloody handprints on the wall glow from the CSI guys looking for evidence after the murderer husband thought he cleaned up all the blood.

"The Assasination of Jesses James" with Brad Pitt--9/10. Much more psychologically sophisticated then "3:10 to Yuma."

There Will Be Blood - 9.5/10
I don't like giving out 10s but this movie was amazing. Some people would think its got a slow pace, but I couldn't have loved the movie more. Daniel Day Lewis really is an amazing actor. Highly recommend the movie to anyone.

Budo: The Art of Killing 8.5/10
An old documentary from the very early 80's about the various martial arts of Japan lumped under the term "Budo". Very cool stuff, with sections on Aikido, Aido, Judo, Karate etc etc etc. Some of the 80's Moog soundtrack gets a little cheesy, but hey, that's just nitpicking

the bourne ultimatum
mostly entertaining, however it lacked a certain level of originality, and the ending was slightly anti-climactic

Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears
5.5/10
Don't beleive the hype. Basically 'Women of Brewster Place" (an Oprah movie that my ex made me watch) in Russia. It may have been groundbreaking in 1980 but it failed to impress me on many levels. Maybe it was because it was a chick flick, I dunno.. but I think there are much better Soviet era films out there. I plan to watch an Ostern this weekend (Eastern.. like a Western but.. well, you know)
