A .50 is no joke.
You bascially have to build a .50 caliber weapon because even with the liberal weapons laws here in the U.S. both state and federal? The .50 is just such a big projectile and such a big problem, that it's illegal EVERYWHERE.
I remember talking to a U.S. Secret Service guy a few years back. All their tactics, all their schemes, and he said the thing he feared the most is a 1 mile .50 caliber sniper as he called it.
I didnt realize that a .50 had that range.
Maybe some military types can educate us if I'm wrong and he's wrong, but I've held a .50 shell and say to myself?

This is death.
the new 50 caliber Army sniper rifle that was watching being tested on the history Channel has a range of over 1.5 miles. It's also semiautomatic which is a huge advantage from your typical bolt lock sniper rifle.
I am not sure if the gun laws have changed though krav, I watched a documentary about a year ago where the host bought a 50 cal sniper rifle and showed its potential shooting through 1 inch thick steel. They then discussed its ability to take down civilian aircraft. This was all after that scare when the pilot reported seeing lasers on his 747 while ascending after taking off.

I had the opportunity to fire a Desert Eagle .50 caliber pistol once. I know it's not the same shell as the rifle bullet, but it was still a handcannon to say the least!
"I have always said that if you need steroids to compete you are not a fighter. Fighting is all about heart, technique and capitalizing upon your opponents mistakes. It is not about putting something into your body and walking around with big muscles saying look at me. In my book if you are on steroids you are a loser."
