I guess that means since I studied Network Analysis that my opinion on Novell vs Cisco means more? I guess I don't understand the argument. Can you elaborate?

I just think trailer park boys is more original. In my opinion, Its Always Sunny just goes for the cheap laughs. But that being said, everyones humour types are different. For example I don't get how family guy is funny and when i say that most people think i'm crazy.

Yeah, I don't get how family guy is funny at all. There is no continuity or plot development and no emotional attachment to any of the characters.
Actually FatCat, now I understand what you meant. You appreciate all different forms of comedy from satire (my favorite) to lowbrow stuff to 'thinking mans comics' to fart jokes.. you have a wider appreciation for it because you have studied and been around it more?

I've probably seen only between 5 and 10 episodes of Family Guy. I don't know why people think it's the funniest show either but then again, I'm not a big cartoon guy. It has its funny moments like when there are random references...such as the school kids standing on their desks saying "Oh Captain, My Captain"...I really like Dead Poets Society so I thought that was funny.
I'd much rather watch Curb Your Enthusiasm...right Thor?
Seinfeld is one of my all-time favorites and I can watch repeats of those over and over.
Sunny is just so over-the-top, it's hilarious. Race, abortion, gun control, welfare, sweat shops....good stuff. Funny mannerisms/expressions and the delivery by the actors crack me up.

Actually yes. I have no idea what the hell Novell or Cisco is.
What I was saying is, I can recognize when something is funny even if I don't like it. I can see what people think is funny about Family Guy, but I don't watch it. I won't say it's no good though, because millions of other people think it's funny. Who am I to say a show sucks because I don't like it, that's just silly.
Just like that band you posted up last week, I really don't like that music but I won't say it sucks because obviously someone likes it. Feel me?

Exactly. I missed this before. Wasn't trying to be a dick I was just reasoning out loud, or on the screen.
I'm still relatively green at posting on forums. The way I chat in text is sooooo different than the way I talk it's ridiculous. I am often misunderstood.

Its hard to express yourself on a forum because you dont have body language or tone of voice to go by. I am bad about reading things the wrong way too.

Hehe, and I'm the kinda guy that's all body language and facial expressions. Ninety percent of what comes out of my mouth is sarcasm, and my serious side is the only thing I'm good at expressing on the forums.

Good stuff and amuch respect for FatCatMC my fellow dark brew drinker. I know what you mean.
Also I have not watch a full show of either "Its Sunny in Philadelphia" or Trailer Park Boys" Both seem funny to me. (Trailer park boys seem to be a little funnier though judging by the clips)

Haha, thank you good sir.
It's Sunny relies on brilliant comedic timing to lure you in. Bang, bang, bang and all of the sudden Mac and Dee are trying to get a baby they just found in a dumpster into show business. Until you actually get to "know" the characters, I can see where some would think it wasn't funny. Whereas that clip of TPB was just funny as hell.
