Browsers
I just downloaded Opera and so far I like it. It loads faster than Firefox, of which I am using the latest beta version, and is supposed to be just as secure. Does anybody else use this web browser or know if the security is as good as Firefox's, like it claims?
I also tried another browser, maxthon, which I was really unhappy with. Upon researching it I found out that it was more of an extension of IE7, which probably explained why it sucked.

Just ran a test.
Rebooted my pc, opened task manager, then Firefox and browsed a few pages.
Rebooted again, opened task manager, then Opera, and browsed those same pages.
Opera used from 1/3 to one 1/2 the memory of Firefox. It isn't as customizable as Firefox, which kinda blows, and doesn't have as many add-ons, but the less memory and faster loading is a good trade off.
Edit: Okay, another test. Rebooted, opened both, and browsed the same pages at the same time. Memory usage was much closer this time, with opera using about 5% less, on average. Weird, huh?

Firefox for me.
But I still use IE because it handles some web pages better.
Firefox tends to have troubles with some interactive websites.

Okay, found some cool features in Opera.
Voice commands
Requires a separate download, but pretty cool nonetheless.
Built in mail client
Just like Outlook but without the security issues.
Tab preview
Mouse over another tab and it gives you a little preview of what's on the page. I'll post a screenshot of it later.
