He had one before and it lasted two events and was generally forgettable: Rumble on the Reservation.

Do you remember who was on either the card?

Everyone wants to be a promoter!! Tito is'nt an idiot and he does make some interesting points about the UFC, mostly the pay scale. But what does he expect to do by creating his own company? So far i don't think that any promotion, besides PRIDE, will ever run neck in neck with the UFC.

I agree with what your saying but it's dangerous to be the only top dog for too long. You need a legitimate contender. Maybe not today or tomorrow but in 5 to 10 years. If the UFC completely dominates for that long I think it would be bad for the public. I don't think Tito is the answer, but he does seem to be taking a cue from Oscar- first he bought his compound up in big bear now he's starting his own promotion, not to mention it's probably not a bad thing that he's friends with Trump. I'm just saying he knows the right people and he's in a good position to possibly make a run.

It will be good to see Tito Jameson on the other end paying out for fights'. Hopefully he has some good talent that constantly whines about the money.
I already knew he was intending on launching a promotion, but didnt think he would discuss it so soon.
If he truly cares about the fans like he sais, then this might be good.

I was mistaken, only the event title was Rumble on the Reservation, HFP, Hitman Fighting Promotion was the actual legal entity. 2 events in 2002.

I'm not a huge Tito fan but he might be able to pull this off. He does have a nack for entertainment. As long as he brings in good talent it should do well.
