Barry Bonds
Do you think Barry took/takes steroids and do you think he will finish first on the all time home run list? My view is that Barry is innocent until proven guilty, and to me a lot of what is going around is a rumour, unless I missed something. I also think he has enough left to finish 1st as well.

Do I think he takes steroids? Of course I think that, I think that a large % of pro athletes do though. But like you said they are innocent until proven guilty. Even when they have testing, it's not difficult to cheat the system. I do think that he can do it. I don't really care that much for Bonds but I always find myself keeping up with it. It's just something special when you get to see someone break records.

It is public knowledge that Bonds took steroids.. among them designer drugs designed by Balco.. as well as HGH, Nandrolone (Deca-Durabol).
If youve noticed how much bigger his head and neck have gotten, you could possible sum it up to acromegaly, the adult form of pituitary gigantism, a disease caused by an overabundance of growth hormone.
Then again, on that last one I might just be getting in over my head with theory.
Facts are, Bonds is under investigation for perjury regarding his tesimonies of not knowing that Victor Contis 'the cream' and 'the clear'.
http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/04/13/bo...oid/index.html
Also, isnt it quite fishy that Greg Anderson of BALCO stuck a deal where he would not have to give names of past client athletes, as well as the other three members of BALCO?

The guy is an amazing baseball player. He has to be in the top 3 alltime. I could care less if he did use steroids. MLB is a joke, they knew a VERY high % of their players took steroids and just recently started acting on it.

I just think that we have to marvel at players, Hank, the Babe, that did not need the juice to accomplish the same feet. I truly respect what Bonds has done, but I respect the others for having the natural, unassisted ability to do it without roids. This is a bit of BS because we just don't know for certain if Bonds juiced.
Woops. Had to edit my post after reading AkaiImmortal's post with the transcripts. Oh, yeah, Bonds juiced.

Yes Bonds juiced. I give him zero credit for what he is doing in baseball right now. Any record he has along with the rest of the guilty user's should be voided from the books. I also must agree with AikaImmortal in saying that any more hormones in Bonds would make him a twin brother of the Cave Men from the Geiko commercial.

We also have to see that we are in a different era. Players like Aaron & Babe wouldn't stand a snow balls chance in hell of playing with todays players. Bonds is 100x better than both.
