Last time I checked, Atlanta were winning in the 4th quarter... that would have been a nice bet.

ha...nothing bad happened. I just don't feel I have the time that I need to put into the site. It was no ones decision but my own.

Anyone see the end of the Jets game...this begs the question: What are the refs there for? Jets down 13-20 a little over a minuet left in the game 4th and 4...Pennington, almost sacked recovers and throws a bomb to TE Baker. Baker catches the ball and both of his feet are in bounds (still in air) gets forced out and the refs decide it’s not a touchdown. Ok the refs screwed up...now you would think that it would be challenged upstairs (Teams cannot challenge in last 2 min's of games) The most crucial play was not even challenges upstairs...a disgrace...I wonder if it was just a coincidence that a few calls went the Browns way that probably shouldn’t have...IE there was clear pass interference on Coles in the 1st quarter overlooked that would have sustained a drive. I give credit for the Browns to finally find some sort of an offense...and the Jets offense was miserable except on the opening drive...but come on now...if you seen the game or see it on sports center at the angle facing the end zone it was SO clear that Baker could have got is feet down in spite of the direction of his momentum...I've seen plenty of plays that a receiver/TE was closer to the out of bounds line and get both tip-toe's in with momentium going out of bounds...It’s obvious the NFL needs new/updates rules considering "force outs" or just simply have better camera angles so that the refs during review can see if a player would get their feet down. This game, among others, reveals that there need to be more measures in place to give each player what they deserve...terrible call by the refs, and even worse, not reviewed upstairs...what a coincidence indeed...

hey Snow, wat we're gonna do about the NFL bets now ??
you wanna do the bets for us ? you could limit maximum betting per game to 50pts, we all could still have fun betting. Not that much people play NFL sunday anyway. I think only sub, me, you, mtkra, mustang, and a few more only. We could donate pts to each other after the games. This way we won't be too much trouble for FF staffing to run Vbookie each week for us.
What do you think ? Want to give this a try ?
and I could still post up the weekly previews, and you could do the weekly betting odds ..

What happens if team A is playing team B and the odds are 3/1 that team B wins. I bet 50 pts on team A and you bet 50 pts on team B and team B wins. Therefore you should get a total of 200 pts back (150 pts winnings) and I should lose only my 50 pts. Do you see the discrepancy? How can I pay your winnings with the 50 pts I bet?

I am confused as well.
But it's still fun. Especially when you win 3-1 usually on your bets.
But what do I know? I failed arithmetic in school.
My math skills are so bad I'm 30 cents away from having a quarter!

Maybe you should ask Last Exit...When I look at it, if you bet 50 and have 3/1odds you should get back 150 total if you win...if I bet on team B I win 150 total...If I bet on Team A I lose 50...Maybe I'm totally wrong...but that's how I see it.

Winning bets receive the winnings as well as the original bet back.

The bets will still be taken care of. They may not be up this week but things will get back on track.
