    Default Best Ninja Movies Ever???

I grew up in the 80's the decade of THE NINJA movies.

Everything was NInja this and Ninja that. Gone were the stupid EVerybody was Kung Fu Fighting days. Kung Fu movies were all but dead, except for the Saturday afternoon Kung Fu marathons with the ridiculous sound effects and stupid story lines and idiot Kung Fu masters who thought with enough meditation they could float in mid-air.

Ninja movies. What do you all feel were the best ones? There were plenty of stupid ones, but some good ones. List all your favorites and discuss why you like them and have you added any (that you're willing to admit) to your current DVD collection?

    Here's my favorite Ninja Movies.

#1) Revenge of the Ninja (Sho Kosugi): THis movie was gory, had a jacked up story line, had great sword and fight scenes, some nasty techniques and weaponry in it. I mean the guy loses his wife, his 6 year old son, his mother, and his best friend all in a matter of a few years to some dark rabid mafia paid american ninja guy. Great movie

#2) American Ninja 1 and 2. : (Michael Dudikoff) Not bad movies. Filmed in the Philippines and the second in Tahiti. Great scenery, ok fight scenes and a halfway decent story line.

#3) Ninja III: The DominationSho Kosugi) Talk about weird, this movie had it all. Drugs, cops, ninjas, buddhist kung fu dudes, demon possesion, a great sex scene involving V-8 juice, and a damn good hero Ninja with one eye at the end. Oh, and proof that with enough crunches, you too can survive 20 cops shooting 400 bullets into you!!!

That's about it. IMO, the rest of the 80's ninja movies SUCKED!

Feel free to add to the list if I missed any!

american ninja II, whats with that part where the ninja is on the car and instead of just jamming on the breaks, he makes the little boy the girl and himself jump out as the car runs into a random area then explodes.... just hit the breaks!

I am partial to American Ninja III where Joe's (Dudikoff) was replaced and the Joe had to rescue his crappy replacement. Always liked the black guy in the American Ninjas.

I also loved the Kung Fu movies that came on late Saturday morning. My favorite one was The Invincible Kung Fu Brothers. The only way they could be beaten was a sword up the butt. Freaking hilarious.
