that was $5000 well spent. its fun to imagine that stuff actually working but why would you put yourself in harms way trying to be the one to prove it?

That kind of thing only worked on his students, and of course only then because his students wanted to believe it worked. It's the same sort of thing as the placebo affect and hypnosis. It is all about supposition, and what you are made to believe. The human mind has a powerful influence on your body and its actions (consciously or subconsciously), and if someone can trick it, they can trick your body.

Some backround info would of been nice to completely understand what the deal is with this "imaginary fighting" guy. But in either way, this was hilarious
