Rickson Gracie will fight again
MMA legend, Rickson Gracie surprised all his fans by being present at the Heroe’s weight-ins. Rickson will be at Kevin Casey’s corner, which will face the Japanese Ikuhisa Minowa. FEG president, Sadaharu Tanigawa, spoke about the possibility of Rickson return to the Japanese rings: "Rickson still has plans to fight”. According to Tanigawa he has made several proposals, since 2003, for the Gracie to comeback and the last one was on Friday. “Rickson had pointed three fighers he’d like to face, seems like he’s ready”.

I don't know about MMA legend. But he does have some sick submission skills and even though he is getting old it's cool that he still wants to compete.

Then you might want to learn more about Rickson....

How is he a MMA legend? If you wanted to say he was a Jiu-Jitsu legend then I wouldn't disagree but I don't see what makes him a MMA legend exactly.

Him and Takada were Pride FC 1, and just that fact that he was the first Gracie to compete in MMA.

I would love to see him compete again in MMA but I don't know he age is up there and the fighters now are more well rounded than before.

Just read the mans biography. He's one of the pioneers of mma as we know it today. He's probably the first Gracie that would actually stand and trade shots with you and actually have the ability to hurt you striking and then take you down and rip your arm, head, or foot off.

He is about to hit 50... But the guy was a beast. If his knees are any good, he can still deliver against a lot of people.
And a Rickson Gracie-Frank Shamrock would sell a hell of a lot of tickets and PPVs...

I guess revolutionizing the sport of MMA, helping the Gracie family/art evolve, all while remaining undefeated doesn't quite constitute a legend.
