Igor Vovchanchyn HL
Igor is easily one of my favourite fighters of all time. Here is a HL from his days with Pride, IFC, and other orgs. I haven't seen a lot of these fights other than the Pride and IFC ones until now and man he is one bad dude!

great HL reel. Igor is one of my favorite fighters of all time. He throws every strike with bad intentions, some of the best KO power of all time. He is an animal in the cage, but outside he is the nicest guy.
Those headbutts are what NHB is all about, Igor is NHB personafied!!!

This dude should have been fighting in the early days of the UFC. He probably would have been in the same category as the gracies, shamrocks, and severns...

Damn, that dude is strong. I had always wanted to believe that he was one of the better Pride fighters since he was from the Ukraine and I'm mostly Ukrainian ( ), but unfortunately, the only other footage I had seem of him was from a couple of older Pride events against opponents who he ran into problems with. This is a good HL reel with a lot of the stuff that I haven't seen yet.

I would have loved to see Alek Emelienenko against Igor. It would have been a brawl.

Later in his career Igor seemed to lose a step, maybe the competition got tougher or maybe his body broke down a bit from so many fights, probably a combination of the two.
Never-the-less, Igor was always an exciting fighter, he threw bombs with his hands and with his feet and had a pretty solid ground game too. his older Vale Tudo fights were crazy, he was one of the most feared guys.
Igor is also a very classy guy outside of the ring, great sportsman and overall a nice guy. Supposadly he opened a resteraunt back in The Ukraine and is retired from fighting. I feel bad for the dude that tries to skip out on a check at Igor's resteraunt.

Excellent HL, thanks for posting! Lots of fights I hadnt seen before.
Igor had such scary power in his hands, I love watching his fight with Francisco Bueno....you can just see how hard the right hand he threw that KO'd Bueno was!!!
