when i brought up the issue of removing the Pride forum my intention was not to discredit thier legacy. PrideFc was a very long running and well produced organization that gave fans alot of great fighters and fights, especially all of the tournaments. however its a fact that there is no longer anything to discuss within PrideFc. the possiblity of discussing old fights is there but i did'nt see any of that going on when i created this thread.
As for what orgainzation is worthy of its own section? i looks like EliteXC has the most support. it may be a new organization and maybe it won't be discussed much. on the other hand having it right there for people to see might get them more interested in it, especially if members who do follow thier events post there.
this whole discussion reminds me of when i suggested to my parents that we take down our swimming pool. we had'nt used it in years and it was a hassle to maintain. in the end we left it open at the wishes of my sister who swore she'd use it. Did she end up using it? not once. we finally decided to tear it down at the end of the following summer.
