here. While the Pride forum may be archived eventually (not sure when), we will not be renaming it M-1. At least not yet. They haven't even run an event under their re-labeled brand. Otherwise we would have had a separate forum for the now defunct WFA who had at least run an event with more recognizable fighters than M-1 has at this point. EliteXC, WEC, Strikeforce, Bodog, HDNet Fights, even World Victory Road would also be deserving.
At this point, until someone really steps forward and starts running very regular shows which inspires a lot of discussion on the boards, a separate forum is not needed. Not yet.
BTW, I have a feeling we may see less and less of Bodog running their own promotion. They lost their American TV contract with PAX (stupid channel to be on anyway) and have been getting killed by fighters ragging on how they do business. They are still on the Score in Canada. But I have a feeling you'll see more and more cross promotion with them, like co-sponsoring Sportfight this past weekend and also co-sponsoring Strikeforce at the Playboy Mansion earlier last month.
Change this section to M-1? Elite XC?
