Mark Kerr fights
i have Pride1-5 Mark Kerr fights in three of them and alll the fights suck. its not his fault, it seems like they are all scared of him. i was reallly excited to see what the "smashing machine" was all about. i guess ill have to find some other fights.

No joke man. It wasn't his fault at all. "The Pedro" was a d-bag. He was screaming like a little woman then acted upset that the ref didn't let Mark rip his arm off. Branco is yet another d-bag who has a hard time following the rules, but Mark laying him out after he got tired of Branco elbowing him in the head was worth the fight being stopped. I don't know what was up with the Duarte fight. That guy was weird. He was just outmatched and I think he really was scared of Mark.
The thing that sucks is that after the first Igor fight it's all downhill because that is when his whole "self destruction" was going on. It's sad because some people don't even know who he is or realize what a force he could have become.

Mark Kerr was a monster in both the UFC and his fighting days in Brazil. he was just unstoppable. i too was very disappointed when all of Mark's fights in Pride 1-5 sucked but then i saw the "smashing machine" DVD and it was obvious why. his last fight was in Pride against Heath Herring and it was a loss.

"Smashing Machine" is definitely worth $25. That's about how much I paid for it and I was very satisfied. It's pretty depressing to see what the guy did to himself, but it's very powerful. Definitely buy it.

After talking about "Smashing Machine" I had to go watch it again. Another thing that is depressing is what Ricco used to be compared to what he is now. Man I wish that guy would get back in shape and become a force while he still has some fight in him.

Branco just had no clue what MMA was.. but then again he was a douche when it came to the Kickboxing rules fight too.. he DID win the first K-1 GP though, so you gotta give him credit for that.

I don't doubt Branco's kickboxing abilities. I know he's a BA when it comes to that, he's an awesome striker, but he was just too scared to actually fight Mark, which was disappointing. But what you said about Branco not knowing anything about MMA is dead on. Look at his fight with Mo. That was ridiculous. I've only seen like 2 or 3 guys actually get tapped by that move. I was disappointed by that fight too because I thought it was basically gonna just be a freakin awesome kickboxing match.

I'm glad to see so many people showing respect to my boy. Too often people discredit him for what he's done, who he's beaten, and what he could've become. Just shows you how drugs and women can ruin you.

i just watched Kerr get whacked by Heath Herring. after the first round its very clear that the man no longer has the heart to fight. the first round is Kerr just laying on Heath, he does'nt throw knees or even attempt a keylock. he just hold Heath down. come the second round it's more of the same, he just takes Heath down and lays there. when the ref finally stands them up Heath is so fired up that when the ref says go, Heath comes in with a vicous kick, sends Kerr to the ground and hammers Kerr with knees. Kerr just lets it happen. just curls up in the turtle position and waits for the ref to stop it. really very sad. on the bright side Kerr did mention the UFC in a before fight interview, maybe we'll see him in the ring vs. AA someday?
