Pride Ring Question?
I saw on fsn pride tv show the ring is 23 ft. x 23 ft. but the never siad like whats under the ring and is it padded or made of wood or what. Basically I have alot of questions about the ring and if anyone has any info on it that would be great.

I didn't answer because I'm mad at you indefinitely for making fun of Arona and Chonan, also I didn't see the post first time. The ring is 7 meters by 7 meters (approximately 23 feet by 23 feet) I know that for sure. I'm not sure of what it is constructed from but I'm interested as well and will try to find out.

I tried to look it up but found nothing I wanted to know mainly whats under the mat is it just a board or is it padded or what. if its padded how think is the padding.
Also Arona will lose next time he fights he could be fighting Mr. Takada and he'll lose. As for Chonan I'll take care of him when Pride signs me.  |

I was all but positive that Arona/Silva II was already signed for New Years Eve. |

I would guess that the PRIDE FC ring is little different from a boxing or pro-wrestling ring. Some sports entertainment promotions use those ring-rope connectors (those loose straps that you see at the middle of the ropes), some do not. They use a thick steel wire cable wrapped in thick rubberized plastic for the ropes. The matt itself is likely little more than an inch or less of wrestling matts and a few inches of plywood and supports. It is not a forgiving surface.

ever hear the sound of Fedor or Igor's fist when they throw a punch downward at thier opponents face and they miss? its not a soft squishy sound, its a very solid thud when thier fist slams into the floor of the ring.

Yeah I noticed that too it sounds like wood but I mean I really don't think they would have a tarp over just plain old wood they may have a 1 inch mat or something underneath it or something. I'm gonna try to look for the ring info some more.

You guys suck. I'm gonna make my own club and it will be way cooler that yours. And when you realize how awesome it is and want to join I will pee pee on you.
As for the ring. I'm sure it is some kind of wood structure reinforced by steel underneath covered by a mat with canvas on it. I've been looking all over the place and can't find any info on the construction. Just the measurement.
