Dan Henderson should be ranked higher
Anyone wanna tell me why Dan Henderson is ranked #5 and not #1 or #2 on MMAWeekly's top 10. He destroyed Wandy and what they don't think he could beat Franklin or sliva.... Maybe Lindland deserves #1. But we will see about that when he faces Fedor.
MIDDLEWEIGHT DIVISION (185-pound limit)
#1 Middleweight Fighter in the World: Matt Lindland
2. Anderson Silva
3. Paulo Filho
4. Rich Franklin
5. Dan Henderson
6. Denis Kang
7. Frank Trigg
8. Nathan Marquardt
9. Kazuo Misaki
10. Jeremy Horn

How would Lindland's fight with Fedor have any bearing whatsoever on where he deserves to be ranked in the Middleweight Devision? You do know the fight with Fedor is taking place at Heavyweight, right?

Which I imaging the reason he didn't move up in the MW rankings is cause his fight with Silva was a LHW. He moved up pretty far in the LHW rankings after the fight. I don't see how his MW rankings should be affected by the Wandy fight. Lindland's MW ranking was unaffected after the Rampage fight.

That is sad, Hendo should be at least top 3 IMO, and not just for the Silva win.

Ok but needless to say wouldn't you agree that Henderson could beat at least 3 of the other top 4 at MW... So he should be higher.
I just feel bad for Dan. He deserves more credit then he gets in the USA..

I believe prior to Gomi's loss to Diaz they had Gomi #1, Sherk #2, and Sakurai #3.

It's funny how Hendo is above Wandy at LHW, but below Franklin at MW.

MMA Weekly ranking are done by the staff of MMAWeekly. One shouldn´t pay TOO much attention to them, since they don´t really represents the facts as they are. There is no way Matt Lindland should be ranked higher than Dan Henderson. Look at Henderson´s accomplishments in the past year and look at Lindland´s, although I agree that Matt is a world class fighter, but come on... first place?
For me a more realistic rating would be...
#1 Dan Henderson
#2 Matt Lindland
#3 Paulo Filho
#4 Anderson Silva
#5 Rich Franklin
etc...

The reason people put so much weight behind MMAWeekly's rankings is because they USED TO get votes from fighters and other insiders in MMA, but they stopped.
