Are The Patriots Still Cheating?
I mean, I hate cheaters and all, and if you catch them once, chances are somehow someway they're doing it again.
I just don't buy that the Patriots are this dominant. Good, yes, but totally flawless?
And I certainly do not buy that Tom Brady is as accurate and completely flawless as he is. Today was his first sack of the year for crying out loud. That's way too fishy. EVERY QB gets sacked more than once after 6 weeks. EVERY QB.
And his accuracy now all of a sudden they're talking about how he might break Manning's numbers this year? Any QB would be that accurate if he knew ahead of time or play by play what configuration of defense was going to be used against him.
Come on. If you watch how the players seem to just know what the scheme of the defense is before the defense knows it? It's WAY too fishy.
I still think that somehow the Patriots are getting the opposing teams defensive and offensive schemes transmitting to the coaches in some way.
What do you all think?
GREAT FORUM BTW. Excellent IDEA!

Patriots aren't still cheating, and they are that dominant. I think Brady is a better qb than Manning. Do you really think that Bellichick would risk getting caught again after that huge scandal. Brady's success is due to a couple of things. The defense just can't keep up with the recievers. You have moss going deep, Welker in the slot, and Stallworth running all over the place. Those three alone confuse the D on every play, which is why brady always has someone to throw to. With or without the camera, the Patriots still run the show.

I agree, it's like every play is absolutely flawless. I don't recall one solid defensive play, where they actually read the offense. I haven't been watching football long enough to know that much about this kind of dominance, it just leaves me scratching my head.
Cheating on the football is pretty stupid. Cheating on Gisele would be the stupidest move mankind has ever made.

I think they are just that good...
The organization as a whole has done a great job of bringing in great talent without breaking the bank on any one player.
As far as cheating, I think the Patriots coaching staff does every little thing in their power to give their team the best chance to win. I think the whole spy cam thing was blown out of proportion because of the Patriots success. If it were the Raiders that were caught, nobody would be talking about it.

Exactly. Fans tend to dislike dominate teams in general (myself included to be nonbiased) and look to damn them at any chance possible. Happened to be the Pats that got caught but I guarantee there are other teams out there who have done the exact same things.

I am not sure if they are still cheating, but I do think they cheated quite a bit before they got caught. Who knows how many games worth of tapes(illegal) they have of each team.
Tom Brady is not as good as Peyton Manning. In fact, I dont think its close. Peyton Manning reads and rereads defenses, and then makes changes at the line of scrimmage. Tom Brady does not do this.
I just think the Patriots success is a little fishy to me.

Just because he has won more Super Bowls does not mean that he is the better quarterback. They obviously need to have a really good team behind them to do that, and the Colts have always been lacking in defense, and that is probably a big reason Manning hasn't won as many as Brady.

Oh, no doubt they're a good/great team.
I'm just arguing that if you watch them? They're TOO good.
There's just something that doesent sit right with how the players carry themselves as if they already know what play is gonna be run before the ball snaps. Too many players in EXACTLY the right place in EXACTLY the right time.

I dont think they are still cheating. For the record, I dont think that they were cheating any more than any other team in the NFL to begin with. From everything Ive read and heard, it seemed to be a pretty common practice at games.

Brady is a better qb, face it. He is flawless this year.
And IMO, its not just Brady. A QB is nothing without linemen and recievers to complete the pass.
Randy Moss is out there kicking butt and taking names.
Bradys front line is protecting like security at Fort Knox.
Defence it top of the line.
The whole team is playing great this year, not just Brady.
Their opponents have been their own worst enemies. Penalties throughout the game do not help when you are playing a top calibur team.

You are definitely right, if Manning was a Patriot I'm sure he would have multiple rings.
The Patriots are the last team in the league that needs to cheat. They have the best personal on both sides of the ball by far, mainly due to their currently undervalues off-season pickups...so enjoy it Patriots fans because they are all going to be asking for what they are really worth in due time...

Thats more proof they're cheating in my opinion. The fact that you said Randy Moss is kicking butt.
He's been a jinx everywhere.
That's the proof in the pudding right there.

If you think the Patriots are still cheating my friend, than you sir are a fool. Its a professional football team with amazing players. Of course they are going to make it look easy. Theres so many threats on the field that every play something will pull through, usually. I mean on some it doesnt. Brady threw a couple of picks and the run game wasn't amazing, but still. They practice all week, and on sunday, the Pats will be the Pats, regardless.

They were cheating this year. That is a fact. How do we know the Patriots do not have countless hours of tapes of every NFL team? They may not still be cheating per say, but they could still be benefiting off their previous cheating ways.

Negative ghost rider.
Moss rocked the house for the Vikings. Yes, he did step down with Oakland, but the team kind of blows.
Moss is catching footballs left and right. Mostly, because Brady can put the ball on a pinpoint.
With the Raider '05 '06 average was 1558 yrds.
Vikings '98 '04 average 1670 yrds.
Check his stats, I would hardly call him a jinx. He is at 610 right now, that is right on track with his past record. Randy Moss: Career Stats
And just to put the last nail in this threads coffin less we forget the rest of the team: Stallworth 19/316; Welker 38/386; Moss 40/610; these guys not only catch the ball they manage to make ground with it in hand.
Defence has 211 solo tackles and 16 sacks. There has been 9 interceptions resulting in an average of 16 yrds per run back and 2 of which resulted in TD's

Um dude, I am pretty sure it is against the rules to video tape the signals of the defensive coordinator as the Patriots did. It is cheating, hence why the organization was punished.
