I hate to say it but the chances are looking good. I dont think there is any team that can stop them to be honest, and I don't even like them.

Is that supposed to be pose a threat, or are they forum members and need to post a thread?
I also do not like them, but I don't know if they can be beat right now.

Looks like they will but anything can happen in the playoffs. I don't really like or dislike them, but I would like to see someone new win.

So far so good. The level of competition is just not like it used to be.

i don't think they'll have a perfect season. The worst part of the year is coming up and anything can happen once the snows and cold take over New England and the other northern cities.

I agree with Crash. Weather brings all kinds of oddities into the picture of football. Someone could get injured, ankles, hammy's tighten up quicker, etc.
Someone is bound to throw the Pats for a loop.....Or...
One can aruge the Pats will do what the Colts did the year they had threatened a perfect season. Secure homefield and your division in the playoffs, etc, and rest some of your guys for the last 2 regular season games that don't mean anything.

Exactly, a perfect season is a worthless accomplishment if you don't win the Superbowl. I am sure all these guys are looking at the bigger picture and its not a perfect season.

Could they go undefeated…sure, they have more talent and depth then any other NFL team…will they go undefeated is a much harder question. It depends on what the coaching staff values when the season ends. Do they value rested players for the post season, or do they value playing every game full tilt? The Patriots will most likely have home field rapped up a couple of weeks before the post season starts. The question is whether or not to risk player’s health in the road to perfection. If the Patriots remain healthy and play every game to win, they will be undefeated and the champs…if the coaching staff takes players out towards the end of the season, then its going to be much tougher. The last game for the Patriots is against the Giants. The Giants may need that win for a chance at the division title or a wild card spot, whereas, the Patriots will be sitting pretty with home field, so why risk your stars? That is what will determine whether or not the Patriots will go undefeated, a combination of health and the coach’s values.
Last week on Mike and Mike on the radio, they gave a statistic that was interesting. The Patriots were 70% likely to win the Super Bowl (as of last week) and the rest of the NFL combined, 30% likely... I wonder if we will ever see a team like this again…you would think that with free agency and the salary cap, teams like the Patriots could not exist…interesting stuff…

I dont know man, this team is playing with a serious chip on its shoulder. If they are going for it on 4th down up 30 then i can easily see Bill Belichick leaving his starters in

The Giants also have the most sacks in The NFL. The Patriots could risk alot of injury in that matchup when it is not necessary. ANd trust me, they will hit Brady. Hard.
Too risky for a team as, you all again accurately say, will have home field wrapped up in a couple of weeks. And the division.

What are they suppose to do...kick Field Goals, then people would say THATS running up the score. They are pros if they can't stop the Pats they deserve to get 50 points scored on them.No one complains when those defensive players pick up there check though! Why can't people just enjoy the Pats, this is the greatest team EVER a once in a few lifetimes team, and everyone finds a way to put them down.
I swear we are in the era of putting down everyone and anyones accomplishments one way or another. Every baseball player who does anything power related is on steriods, the Patriots are "too" good, etc. One day we can all say to our grandkids we watched the greatest team ever and no one was or has been close to them since.
And I'm a Giants fan, but if we don't beat them they will go 19-0.

Yes they will do undefeated. If teams would rush and rough up Brady then there's a chance they will lose but until that happens, I'm thinking the '72 Dolphins won't be alone.

Looking at their schedule I think that if that they lose it will be in the playoffs.

I heard Mike & Mike mention that New England was going to be a 22-point favorite against Philly.
I can't remember seeing a line that big in the pros. It's about time. Sounds too low actually.

Explain to me where in that quote i put down the Pats skill as a football team? Where did steroids come from? All i said is win with class, and going for it up 30 on 4th down is not classy. are they the best team? Yes. Is Brady to Moss nearly unstoppable, yes. But do you think classy coaches such as Tony Dungy or Jeff Fischer or Mike Shanahan or Joe Gibbs would ever do something like that. No, they wouldnt b/c they are classy. I watch every pats game on tv b/c they are fun to watch.and if they win the S.B. they will go down in history as one of the greatest teams of all time.

i think someone is going to cheap shot Brady if they keep running up the score
the only team that has a chance is the Jaguars...the play smash mouth football and if they can run the ball and control the clock they can keep brady off the field

Week 17 - Giants.
Giants will be hungry to keep there spot in the playoffs Pats wont.
Brady's been hit hard against the colts and almots lost it. Giants will do the same. Only fault could be Giants offense putting up enough points.
But keep in mind, i am a Giants fan

Pit or NYG will beat them, I think. It would be hilarious if the Jets do, though.
