Default Who Is The Best Overall NBA Player Right Now?

I would have to say Kobe. There are other great players right now, but he is just on another level. Nash is my second pick.

Lebron for sure hes doing everything Kobe has done and more this season. Kobe still is amazing though (i mean the guy scored 81 points against my Raptors haha).

I had to go with LeBron he is just tearing it up. Close second to Kobe though.

I hear this a lot, but I tend to disagree. I think that the Cavs have better players than the Lakers if you take out LeBron and Kobe. (Even with Gasol)

Cavs-

Zydrunas? Ilgauskas
Sasha Pavlovic
Daniel Gibson
Larry Hughes
Ben Wallace

Lakers-

Andrew Bynum
Derek Fisher
Pau Gasol
Lamar Odom
Jordan Farmar

I think it is obvious that the Cavs have better players.
I would take Ben Wallace over Bynum, Ilgauskas and Odom are about the same, Larry Hughes over Farmar, Gibson over Fisher, but Gasol is better than Pavlovic.

Even with better players the lakers are doing much better. They only have 17 losses while the Cavs have 25+.

Lakers DO have better players. However, yes Kobe is the best player in the NBA.

Kobe is like a baby version of Michael Jordan. Kobe can throw up points, but doesent have that aura of Michael Jordan. But he's got skillz, not doubt.
