Nice. Gilberto got red carded ridiculously (Savage up to his theatrics again), but we pulled out a win due to two beautiful goals.
Kolo headed Henry's free kick in via the post, and then Henry played a one-two with Cesc and finished via the keeper's hand+bar.
Unfortunately ManU kept on truckin' as usual, but next week we'll give their title-hopes a dent at Emirates. Balee dat!

Either both Gilberto and Savage should have received reds or both yellows, or even Savage red and Gilberto yellow acceptable. Savage hacking away at Gilberto a couple of times and gets away with it. Oh well, 2-0 Arsenal is what matters in the end.

Yeah, Berty just gave him a little tap right on his shin-shield (or whatever it's called in English).
Yellow for both imo.
The first goal couldn't have come at a better time.
Always love to see Kolo scoring, he's such a happy fella.

Yeah, a great defender who really enjoys playing and who I would like to see as the next captain.

Liverpool handed Chelsea a 2-0 loss today, I didn't see the game but wonder if Cech was rushed back too soon. Can't wait till tomorrow... I feel an Arsenal win is quite likely.

Chelsea is really offering the title to MU...
I hope we can beat them tomorrow without Gilberto.

Arsenal 2, Man U 1... awesome stuff. Man U had the lead for most of the game but then came the equalizer from Van Persie and then in the last minute of stoppage time, Henry heads in the winner. Such a fantastic win.

YAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
That was so ****in perfect! My hands are still shaking. Scholes, nowhere to be seen. Cronaldo, nowhere to be seen. Rooney, nowhere to be seen (except for the goal).
Rosicky sucked ass with his passes tonight, Adebayor worked like a horse again, and Eboue delivered again (both defensively and with the cross). Henry with the winner, how ****ing perfect is that!!! Not you, Shrek.
The sweetest part was, there was this loud obnoxious ManU-fan in the pub screaming ALL THE TIME. Retarded stuff too - "Van Persie is a rapist, Go back to Germany Rosicky, Wenger back to France, This is ManU's match" etc. Obviously, after their goal he got even more excited...
Oh, how giving him some payback tasted so sweet, "Yeah, who's match is this!? HUH!!!???!!?"

We have won a match against ManU twice. And Liverpool thrice.
I'm not getting my hopes up for the league title, but ManU sure as hell can't win it.
And I'm sure we'll get something from the cup comps. Oh yes.

this ought to put a dunt in your happiness
Van Persie sidelined by broken metatarsal
Sun 21 Jan, 9:20 PM
LONDON (Reuters) - Striker Robin van Persie, Arsenal's top goalscorer in the Premier League, faces a long spell on the sidelines after breaking a bone in his foot in Sunday's 2-1 over Manchester United.
Van Persie, who was making his comeback after an ankle injury, had been sent on as a second half substitute and grabbed a vital equaliser in the 83rd minute.
But as he celebrated his goal, the Dutch forward broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot and is now likely to be out for at least six weeks.
The injury will be a major blow for Arsene Wenger's side, who are campaigning on all four fronts.
They are fourth in the Premier League and face a League Cup semi-final, first leg at Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, an FA Cup fourth round tie next Sunday against Bolton Wanderers and the Champions League last 16 which starts in February against PSV Eindhoven.
Van Persie is the club's top scorer in the league after lashing home his 11th of the season at the far post from a cross by Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky.
Praising the Dutchman's strike, Wenger told a news conference: "Robin came in from a deep position and scored an unbelievable goal. But he can deliver that."
Captain Thierry Henry, who will now have to shoulder the attacking burden, headed the winner in stoppage time.
Wenger said that teenage forward Theo Walcott would play against north London rivals Spurs at White Hart Lane.

I knew that. At least he didn't get injured for nothing.
Ade was awesome again today, and Walcott and Henry are back, so this didn't come at the worst time really. Now that Eboue is back as well, all we really need is Gallas back. And Djourou as back-up.
