I actually made that one myself.
Can't take credit for the granny-GIF though.
It's a new club record btw. 25 matches in a row (in all competitions) without a loss.

Not anymore.
Just can't find the time.
I see a match/highlights once in a while before they show the Premiership.
Same with La Liga.

Well, we didn't qualify for EURO 2008 (needed a win in Portugal, only got a draw)...
But neither did England!!!!
They needed a draw at home against Croatia.
Croatia went 0-2 up, England equalises... and on the 77th minute Croatia get the winner!
What a rollercoaster that group was.

And that's why I don't like the proposed quota system for EPL teams (i.e. have to have a certain number of English players). It should be about fielding the best team you possibly can.

Yeah, the quota-idea sucks donkey balls and Ferguson backing it recently was ****ing laughable.
But it was most likely just his typical "mind games" 'cause Arsenal are clearly a threat to him.
He's hardly been getting "home-grown" players himself, he's just the only one (along with Chelsea) that can afford to get quality English players as they are ALL heavily overpriced.
Rooney, Rio, Carrick, Hargreaves... it's not like they came from MU's academy ffs.

Devastated. The best players in the world and we can't qualify ahead of Croatia and Russia. Sad stuff.
Please let us have Jose...

**** yeah!!!
ManU get 0 points from Reebok (HAHAHAHAHA!!!), and AGAIN we score in the last 10 minutes to get the points. Big Willy showed again why he's a kickass captain.
I know it was only Wigan, but goddamn our injuries were out of hand for this one. Cesc (suspended), Hleb, Flams, Diaby, Gilberto and RvP all out.
And now Walcott got injured too. Heskey doing nothing but being a douchebag since he came on. But Cesc and hopefully Flams and RvP will be back for the next one.
On a day when Anelka scores the winner against ManU and says this about Arsenal...
Quote:
"If you look now at the situation Arsenal are in and look at where I am, then you could say maybe I should have stayed. "Of course, I would like to play in that team. Which striker wouldn't want to be part of a team that plays such amazing football?
"But the way they are playing, who's to say I'd even get in that team?"
|
...you can't help but like the guy a little again.
This is looking very good indeed.
As far as England having the best players in the world, I'm gonna have to disagree. Sure, they should have qualified from that group looking at the talent, but guys like Gerrard and Lampard are still way overrated.

God dammit!!!! Football can make me so angry sometimes. The game today was an unamusing joke, as are Bolton's whole squad with the exception of ****ing Anelka. What the **** was Pique doing?
Anyway, even the Champions can make mistakes
And ye I pretty much believe our national squad has a large percentage of the best players in the world. Rio, Terry, A. Cole, J. Cole, Gerrard, Beckham (Ye he still got it), Rooney, Owen (if he could just catch a break with the injuries!). All the very best. Gerrard is no way overrated. Did you see his performance today? He just happens to play week in week out like that for Liverpool.
Can't wait for us to be crowned Champions again. I will laugh so much it will hurt

Dream on, natu.
The title's ours. And don't be surprised if we win it via unbeaten season again.
We just can't stop scoring in the last 10 minutes. I tell you, Arsene's got our boys' heads and cardio right.
And Fergie's losing it haha.

I love it.
Arsene is a friggin' genius.

Wenger's a genius? Ha! Compared to Ferguson he's mildly retarded. Just compare their managerial achievement's - Arsene probably has a Ferguson poster in his room. It actually wouldn't surprise me.
And Sir Alex had a right to be so angry. Davies shud have been sent off about three times. I would have flying kicked that ref Cantona-styleee

I have to say Gerrard is quality, anyway, as Gooner pointed out, Arsenal are doing what they didn't do last season: that is they are scoring in the last few minutes of the game to win it whereas last season it would end in a draw. It's the key difference that will bring the title to Arsenal. Oh, and yes, Wenger IS a genius. =)

Please don't go there.
I'm sure by "managerial achievements" you mean "trophies".
But let's compare the money they've had at their disposal throughout the years.
Imagine what Wenger would have done at MU... thank God, he's OUR Professor.
When you look at spending, ****, even Spurs should have been giving us hell for years now.
I'm sure SAF knows deep down that he's inferior to Arsene as a footy manager, and that's why he hates him so.
Not only has Arsene made Arsenal into a huge club and brought success, he's done it with some extraordinarily sexy football. And now he's largely responsible for the club making huge profits with the new stadium and everything.
Arsene knows.

Arsene knows ****. Alrite, 'mildly retarded' may have been a little strong, I do respect him (not quite as much as I would like to sink a choke on him) and he is a great manager, but talking about funds is purely hypothetical and barely worth arguing. Maybe with more money Wenger would have been sacked long ago for signing bums.
I'm not saying that SAF hasn't signed his share of crap (Kleberson, Djemba djenbagy etc.), but most of the time he's done real good.
To assess who the better manager is, you can only look at achievements. And by this I obvioulsy mean 'trophies', because that is what football teams tend to play for, lol. I come to one blatant conclusion = Sir Alex is the best manager in the premiership (IMO the world).
And oh yes...'I went there'

But money does factor in. Chelsea has been quite successful in recent years, however, with all the money they have spent they should have done even better than they have. Basically if Arsene spent the amount of money Ferguson has spent, and Ferguson spent the amount that Arsene has spent, well... you would have a completely different story.

Ya i know what Gooner meant, but I'm saying that it is just conjecture. You can't claim that we would have 'a completely different story', that paralell universe can't be seen. It might be surprisingly similar...
How good a manager is depends on what he has to show for in his career. Sir Alex just has more.

Still a lot of big injuries for us.
Again, our player (our man of the moment really, Hleb) got injured because of a cynical challenge, and no red card.
And Villa away was always gonna be a big test for the lads, but we just keep on truckin'.
Good luck in trying to keep up on Monday, Mancs.

Figures. You're a friggin' Canadian.
And you guys suck at footy. Even more than Finland.
(Still, Canada has actually made it to the World Cup...
It's a travesty.)
