ManU have a better goal difference already. But what matters if Celtic and MU end up with the same points, are the two matches they played against each other.
And since the goal difference is the same, but Celtic scored away goals at ManU, they'd finish above MU.

so goal difference counts for nothing its results against the team with the same points that counts?
either way im absolutly delighted, its the first time we have qualififed, and with rangers doing it last season we have again done it better than rangers and stuck two fingers up at our english critics.

So this weekend there is quite a game on Sunday... Man U vs Chelsea. Any predictions? I predict a 1-1 draw with Ronaldo and Lampard scoring.

A draw would be fine. ManU must not win anyway, or I might cry.
Then again, we might drop points at Bolton, so I might cry regardless.

I expect Arsenal to go with this formation against Bolton:
------------------Lehmann-----------------
Eboue------Toure------Senderos------Clichy
Hleb-----Fabregas-----Gilberto-----Ljundberg
-----------------Baptista-------------------
-----------------Adebayor------------------
4-4-1-1 with Baptista staring in an attacking midfield role to give a physical presence.

^^^^Yeah, could be...
But since at least one of the big boys (Baptista and Adebayor) is starting, Walcott might get a start as well. He might work well against Bolton.

Absolutely no idea here.
So many possible winners imo. It's a cup competition after all.
All I know is, I'll be praying for Arsenal to win it.
One week from now, a buddy of mine is going to be at Emirates to see the North London derby, Arsenal-Spurs. Damn, I'm jealous.
Btw, any of you playing premiership fantasy league at yahoo?
I'm personally pwning at it right now, just interested if any of you could beat me...

That's what a lot of guys at Sherdog said too, and they're all my personal bitches. Again.
And let's not go crazy with the hoping. You made it out of the group stage. That's pretty good already.

Nope, but I am doing the ESPNsoccernet fantasy for la liga and the EPL. I am currently 13 out of many thousands for the EPL fantasy and about 400th in the la liga fantasy league.
About Walcott starting, I don't think this is the game to do it. Bolton are a physcal side and he will probably not be able to handle it. I think he should come on as a sub with about 15 minutes to go to have a run at the tiring players.

Christ on a bike, we sucked at the first half. Bolton was pressing the action a lot.
Thank God, Berty got the first goal right after their second.
C'MON ARSENAL!!!!! Freddie, do something.

Well, that was it. (Again)
Either MU or Chelsea (or both) are about to drop points, and we play like ****.
I'm so tired of watching these skillful players NOT playing up to their potential.
Bolton ALWAYS seems to get points from us.
And Anelka of all people...
I feel like crying.

I have 2 criticisms of Wenger's tactics. First, introducing Walcott for this game, as I said beforehand, was a mistake since he needs to develop physically before he can handle Bolton's physical approach as well as putting Flamini in there for the same reasons, he is too lightweight. I believe Arsenal should have had Hleb and Baptista start in their places. Second, If Wenger won't go 4-4-2 then he should at least consider 4-4-1-1 with Baptista as a second striker behind Henry. This could make all the difference as we often have a bunch of players in the opponents half but only 1 in the box.

I thought Walcott might cause problems just because he is the opposite of Bolton players. But I felt Baptista should have started as well to balance it out a bit.
Oh well, I just feel the players played poorly, I usually can't bring myself to point the finger at Wenger. It's just so disappointing to see us play this poorly. The Untouchables, CL finalists... and now this.

I had no choice in the matter (my father raised me right ).
It's amazing how much the team has changed from even 10 years ago. Wenger has done an amazing job.
I wonder, if someone else needs to take it to the next level?
Would love to see Arsene win the CL, he'd deserve it.

Participant-wise footy is the biggest, but attendance-wise it's ice hockey.
Other than hockey, we seem to do OK in F1, rally, strongman competitions and javelin... aaaaand that's about it.
Jari Litmanen is the greatest so far surely. He's won the Champs League (and been the top scorer), and was voted third best in the world (behind Rivaldo and someone else).
Would love it, if we made it to the next Euro with the Mighty Mullet(we've never had as good a chance as now). We've NEVER been to a Euro or World Cup, can you believe that. Whereas Sweden gets there every time.
Our most "famous" players at the mo' would be Niemi, Jaaskelainen, Hyypia, Tainio, Vayrynen and Forssell. A decent starting line-up,not much talent behind it.
