i totally agree, cant wait for his contribution after christmas. the thought of us not progressing in the CL is unbearable, i really wud be distraught! united only need a draw but benfica are gonna be fired up for this. not that we aren't but i have a feeling its going to be tough

when its down to 2 teams to qualify in the last game and your away from home, plus your coming off 2 staright champions league defeats the odds are really stacked against you.

going to be a tough night for united

ManU has to get a draw. If Benfica would beat them, they'd overtake MU.
Celtic 9
ManU 9
Benfica 7

I'm surprisingly relaxed before tomorrow's matches. I think we'll advance.

I also have a feeling ManU will beat Benfica by a good margin (3-0?), I don't know why. Rooney and Cronaldo both went on my fantasy-team.
Wouldn't mind seeing MU go out though, of course.

Barca-Bremen tonight on TV. That's gonna be interesting, Barca has to win.
Bremen for the upset there.

Very nice, steadily improving I see.

Anyone see the Ronaldinho free kick? Great stuff... let the wall jump so you can slot it home underneath!

Aargh, nervous times ahead... CSKA is winning, Porto-Arsenal 0-0.

ManU went 0-1 down, but lead 3-1 now.

Arsenal are through! Grinding out a result is not their style but it doesn't matter as we are in the knockout stages.

Not only through, but we won the group.

The last minutes of the match were erm... funny. Neither team tried anything.
And sure enough, some people aren't happy with that. Pfft.

a good night of football, united are on fire. to be honest i'm kinda glad arsenal got through, having all english teams through really sends a message through europe about the standard of football in england at the moment, in fact all british teams with celtic aswell. very optimistic about united's chances in this competition. and always good to top the group.

Playing Chelski away without both our first-choice centrebacks, Henry and Rosicky... well, not expecting too many points there.

I wonder if we'll see some inflatable mobile phones with the gooner crowd. Cashley's in for some abuse...
This week in fantasy I put a lotta faith in Chelski. They should beat both us and Newcastle.

Have you seen the Cashley Cole bank notes?

Goddamn... that was close.

We did well, and Flams scored again in a big match. Shame about the equaliser.
