Why was Dana White calling Chuck Liddell an f***ing a**hole? - Fight Forum - MMA - UFC - Boxing - K1

I noticed something very perplexng after the fight Saturday night. Right before Bruce Buffer gives the official decision, Dana White goes over and says something to Tito. Then they pan away for a few seconds as Dana is going over to stand right behind Chuck. As Bruce Buffer is announcing Liddell as the winner you can see Dana White looking right at Chuck and saying " F***ing *******...you're a f***ing a**hole" . Then he puts the belt around Chuck's waste. Then Chuck turns around and says something to Dana and it sounds like Dana says " Whatever ", and walks back over to Tito. What the heck happened, does anyone know??? I'm very curious...

nah taht seemed very serious to me... not really the time to joke with anyone... maybe they still hate each other... we might get to find out based on titos next scheduled fight

Wow, I'd like to see a video. I have no clue why he would have done that. But I have a theory. I think Chuck and Rachelle are interested in each other. They had some chemistry together I noticed on the "All Access" show the other night. Also, she had a strange look on her face when they showed her and her mom just before the Chuck/Tito fight. It's no secret that Dana and Rachelle have history together either so I don't know. For Dana to Act like that toward Chuck with no apparent provocation just seems very strange imo. That's my theory anyway.

dunno i would have thought it would be more like the time to joke than to show an arguement between them on live tv, but you might be right. almost looked like chuck spat in his face too, lol

According to an aquaintence that lost 20g on the fight, chuck was supposed to lay down for Tito and didnt. Go Chuck.

First of all dont tell me to shut up, 2nd I had a thread about this 5 days before the fight so eat a penis. I dont know whether or not thats true but I wouldnt be suprised if it was. Dana would have made millions on Tito vs Liddel 3. And the dude has way more inside knowledge than any of us do.

He did state it before the fight and Dana did I guess cuss at Chuck and if for some crazy reason this is correct then good job Chuck for not laying down like a bitch.

uh wow. i was thinking the same thing but they did not seem pissed when i saw it the first time. i'll have to watch the clip again. hopefully i can find it.

and yeah chucksmasher did call it a few days before the fight.
if chuck was supposed to laydown then **** dana, also way to go chuck. maybe that is why tito looked confused while fighting???

If Chuck was asked to lay down then the entire UFC is a complete farce of a promotion and should be brought down by the fans and the media.

If Dana White is so stupid as to ask Chuck to take a dive and crap on the legitimacy of MMA then he should also probably be brought up on criminal charges or at least banned from putting on fights.

Man I totally agree, I am not making this up, the dude really has some good info on fights, and he is absolutely pissed. I wouldnt think he would go so crazy on a bet without a little faith in his bet. Who knows....

I think the belt and the $$$ are getting to The Iceman's head.

And judging how his fans acted towards the news of Rampage being in the UFC now, I think Chuck has been acting like "How Dare You" bring Rampage in. I think Chuck knows his style is the only style that threatens his belt.

And for all intents and purposes, Tito has actually behaved himself during this whole rematch thing. He never trashed Chuck, he never got up in his face or anything, I think Tito has matured and realized the HBBB thing has died out and time to step up and act like a martial artist.

I like Chuck, i think he's professional , but even the most mannered educated person can get corrupted and lose sight of the bigger picture once fame and fortune come into play.
