I feel the win would be huge for Mir, but it's also very important that he has a good performance. If he performs poorly and loses then the UFC may not give him another chance, although they really can't afford to lose HW's.

I dont think a loss would automatically be the end of Mir. If he comes and puts on a good show, is in good shape, and performs well but gets a decision loss or just gets tagged and loses then he will probably stick around. Like someone mentioned...they cant really afford to just throw away HW's in the UFC right now, especially those with the fanbase, potential, and name recognition that Mir brings to the table.
