and coming soon at UFC 54: Boiling Points:

    Liddell will knock out Horn
My prediction anyway. His defeat from Horn is the only blemish on his record and he's going to put that away at 54.

    Cool

I see it really hard for Chuck to lose anymore. He is just on fire and i think Jeremy Horn knows that. Horn knows he is fighting a totally diffrent fighter than before. I predict that chuck knocks him out in the first round cause he has been knocking everyone out in the first round. I would like to see Chuck vs Vitor again. I think that would be a good matchup.

    Default Chuck Liddell

Liddell is a good fighter but he's not the greatest couture should have won that last fight between them I think if couture didn't get a glove to the eye he would have won but hey a wins a win i guess. His power is there to but his style is off to me no ground game and he usually trys to strike while ppl come in then finish them off. I think there are other striker better than him Wanderlei Silva to name one and chuck said he wants him next? Be serious he lost to rampage in 2003 tournament. He's prdictable to me.

I have a lot of respect for Chuck. Not only is he a great fighter but he is a great guy all together, from what I have seen anyway. He is one of my favorite fighters along side with Vitor Belfort,Randy Couture, and Bas Rutten. It's going to suck when he decides to retire. Hopefully that day won't come for a long time.

First off, i don't think it's that chuck doesn't have a ground game. watch him, he has people in postion to submit all the time and he doesn't. do you really believe that he doesn't know how to apply a rear naked choke? or do you think he realizes he's a fan favorite cause he knocks everyone the **** out? he knows his strength and the reason why everyone loves him so much... that's why he fights the way he does, not to mention... it seems to be working as of now.

As amazing as Liddell is right now, i wouldn't count Horn out... talk about a seasoned veteran... he has soooo much experience, i just can't count him out (as a whole, i'm pretty impressed with miletich's camp). that aside, he better bob and weave =P

Chuck has no ground game???? Thats almost funny, he has the best sprawling ability in the UFC. Thats part of a ground game!!!!!!!!! He is a deadly striker, why would he want to stay on the ground??? Other fighters try to take him down to keep him from striking. Being able to defend that and stay in his world is called having a great ground game.

I agree that Chuck doesn't have the best ground game in the world, but he does have the best Take-Down Defense. Even when he is down on the ground, he is one of the best at getting the fight back up to where he can strike. He doesn't go for submissions cause he gets up and goes for KOs

I don't think anyone is going to out-strike the striker. If he does lose, you are right, it will be in the ground game.

    2 words: Quinton Jackson.

He's the only guy I've seen out strike Chuck.

Also, Belfort was close to par with him.

That was the first fight...I think Chuck was alot more confident the 2nd time around and took a different approach. I think Randy should have been trying hard to get to the ground rather than trying to stand with Chuck this time. I think the fact that he did outstrike Liddell the first time gave him a little too much confidence on his feet.

I don't think Randy wanted to stand with Chuck the whole fight. I think he went in with the same gameplan he had last time. Try to engage him on the feet in an effort to get close enough to clich and take him down. Unfortunately for Randy, Chuck came into this fight in better shape and his counter punching looked on point, so he never really had a chance to do that. Randy is too smart a fighter to have the intentions of trying to knock him out standing.

Yes indeed, I don't think Randy had any intention of standing with Chuck the Whole fight. I think, "think" he was just trying to get close enough to him to try and take him down and wear him out. The only reason he out struck Chuck in the first fight was because he wore him down. Chuck's reaction time was just off. He didn't think fighting Randy was going to be a big deal. Didn't take him serously and he paid the price. He was just spent.

I loved watching Chuck on TUF,what a great coach and fighter! He is a good guy too!He does have some problems on the ground but with his ability to strike the way he does it doesnt matter how good his ground game is.Still it would be nice if Chuck would work on his ground game just to be sure that he wont lose.Because that would be the only way he could lose is if he got on the ground and couldnt get up.Other than that he is an awesome fighter that should be able to stay on top for a while.

I like chuck becuase you can imagine him in a bar brawl... you know that no one in their right mind would say "you spilt my pint" to Shamrock etc but chuck liddell you can see getting into that kinda fight hes just a tough guy. Hes not muscly hes not tall hes just hard. If chuck got muscly and got heavier hands he'd be pretty dangerous.. U think ?

Chuck is a one style fighter. Jeremy Horn is has improved so much since the last time they fought and Chuck didn't. Chucks only chance in that fight is the knockout. He was a puncher then and still is a puncher. Couture proved that Chuck has no ground defense. I'm pretty sure that Horn will win agian, but i've been known to be wrong.

There is only 2 ways too beat Chuck. You can wear him out like in his first fight with Couture. I mean Liddell couldn't just stand up after it got too the 3rd round. The other way will have too knock out. I mean if you stand in front of every person you fight eventually some one will catch you with something for the knockout (look at Couture Liddell 2.) It was Couture first time being knocked out. I think Belfort was a good matchup for Liddell. I also believe that if there was a Couture Liddell 3. If it happened before Couture turned 45. I would go with Couture.
