Randy is a true warrior. They need to have Randy vs. Chuck III. Two out of three settles it. To determine who is truly the better fighter.

I just hope it comes soon enough for his age not to become an disadvantage.. time is running out for good old Randy.. The fight should be no later than this year.

I have been waiting for age to catch up with this guy - it just doesn't seem to happen. I would like to see the Chuck rematch sooner rather than later!

here is an excerpt from an interview with randy. it was with jeremy wall of maxfighting.com

i read it on randy,s website
randycouture.tv

it pretty much says it all about the age thing.

he is the man.

JW: How close are you to retirement? Is this something that has even crossed your mind?

RC: There's no age limit on this. I'm physically holding up very well and I love what I do. So until I'm unable to prepare and physically compete and train the way I know I can do, I don't see any reason to stop training and fighting.

With all due respect.. you canīt fight forever.. most fighters donīt intent to retire.. they are forced to, when they realize they are too old for the sport. Randy is not too old, but everyday is against him, rather than for him. Big upīs to Randy.. I personally believe he can beat Chuck. I just want to see it happen before he gets too old for it.

I think Randy is going to put everything he has into Couture/Liddell III... making no mistakes, or giving Chuck a chance to catch him with those hands of stone..

Randy is the Jerry Rice of MMA !!

I hope Couture vs Liddell III happens sometime around 57 or so.....Let them get a few fights in before the rematch.

Couture has been a great figure for the UFC, and is nothing but a class act..I hope he takes care of Van Arsdale, but the Rematch with Chuck could equal retirement..I dont know guys but when you get knocked OUT COLD..It bothers a fighter more then the GnP and the Submission.. If the Rematch goes down i see Couture going for the takedowns faster then usuall and not sticking to his plan of trying to stand with Chuck confuse him a little then go for the takedown..

i dont think that randy thinks he can fight forever, he just will know when the time comes and he doesnt see it coming yet.

i cant wait to see liddell and randy go at it again. i am sure the ufc will make it happen for the fans. (and the fighters)

What do you think the outcome will be like? Iīm tending to seeing a Couture take Liddell down quick, trying to avoid them hands of stone..

i agree. randy did a good job of standing up with chuck for a while in the first fight but he needs to get in the clinch and take chuck to the mat. if he stands up with him i think the outcome will be (unfortunatly) the same as in ufc 52. if he gets chuck into his world he has a great chance of winning the fight.

After 2 or 3 takes downs, I think Chuck's striking game will slow down...That is when you want to stand with Chuck a little more.

the most impressive thing about randy is in the first fight he out boxed chuck and slammed him. he fought chucks game and won. it didnt work out the second time. no body wants to trade with chuck. if he wants to win 3 he will have to take chuck down. its gonna be awsome. i love watching both these guys fight.

I think Randy will need to push the issue on the takedowns. Maybe Chucks defense against take downs is to the point where he won't get him down though. Either way, I like them both a lot, and can't wait to see the next one.
