Griffin also needs vengeance on Jardine. I'd like to see him get payback.

I think a Griffen vs Jardine rematch needs to happen with the winner possibly getting a title shot. I dont think you can give either a shot right now since Jardine just lost to Alexander and Griffen lost to Jardine. The problem right now is finding someone to fight Jackson that actually deserves it. Tito? No way. He hasnt beat top competition in a while now. Sh*t give Hendo a rematch.

Boohoo Shogun was tired, I knew we would here more about how bad Shogun was or his flaws rather than how good Forrest did after everyone said Forrest didnt have a chance to win. Well he won give the man some credit and get off of Shogun's back.
I do agree however; I would like to see Jardine/Griffin 2. I think Forrest could beat Jardine in what would be a good match and set up a nice rubber match.

I agree with what most people are saying on here, the ufc has lost it's 2 big ppv's cos they were obviousley looking for a Liddell vs W Silva and Shogun vs Rampage to probably main event the December and January cards but that has gone right out of the window now so what next ?.
Well, i think if Jardine hadn't lost to Alexander it would be him for the title fight but then again he beat Forrest not so long so you could say he deserves it more but i think out of the 2 Griffin would have the better chance against Rampage as he has improved massivley.
I think that the ufc might rethink things and have Rampage vs Wanderlei Silva for the title and possibley the winner of Forrest vs Alexander and Jardine vs Machida will fight for the number 1 contendership.
I don't know though, ufc 76 has messed things up big time.

Huh? Who has Griffin beat since his loss to Ortiz? Ramirez? Who's no gatekeeper. Bonnar? He had already beat him. Shogun is a nice start for him to challenge for the belt, but by no means is he ready now.
I would much rather see Machida/Alexander. Then we can see if Houston is as real as people think he is. Jardine/Silva, to me, would be better than Jardine/Griffin. Then have Griffin fight Bisping... then take it from there.

I think Wandy will get the next shot because Dana is probably scared to death of the thought of giving Wandy a warm up fight only to lose to an "underdog". Even if the loss came at the hands of Chuck, that would leave you with only the prospect of Chuck/Page pt 3.

Well, Rampage was already scheduled not to fight for the rest of the year.
Oh, and did anybody else notice that he looked pissed off when Shogun lost? He clearly wanted a rematch with him.

I get so sick of people making excuses when a fighter gets beat. He beat Shogun who was recently the #1 LHW in the world. Seems like everytime the guy no 1 thinks will win actually wins everybody starts picking the fav apart naming flaws and making excuses. Even if I see flaws in the other guy I am going to keep them to myself b/c I dont want to be like that.

Fight why do you think they call shogun the energizer bunny?? Because he gasses after 5 mins...When pride fought 10 min first rounds which is more time then it took shogun to gas. There was something wrong with his training or him himself if you've ever seen him fight you should know this.

Please do not assume I have never seen Shogun fight b/c I have plenty of times. The difference this time was that he usually stays at a distance and dominates guys on his feet. He could be in the best shape of his life but if he is not used to rolling around on the ground w/ a guy and constantly using his strength w/ a guy on top of him or even while he is on top going for position he is going to gas.....
Seriously people need to give Forrest some credit for neutralizing what Shogun does best and beating him. I also credit Randy b/c I am sure he had alot to do w/ figuring out a way to beat Shogun.....

You complain about people making excuses for Shogun, but it is no different than you making false achievements for Forrest.
There was nothing extraordinary about the first round that would have caused Shogun to gas so quickly and Forrest did absolutely nothing to attribute to it. Shogun did not begin taking sloppy shots until he was already gassed.
I don't know what this master plan you think Randy came up with it other than hope he gasses. In the few times Shogun actually had the energy to compete, he inflicted more damage. Forrest did all his damage while Shogun was in the fetal position too tired to fight.
I too wanted to see Forrest upset Shogun, but I still have to call as I see it. I would have much rather seen Forrest upset an in shape Shogun.
I give Forrest credit he did exactly what he was supposed to do.

That is all I am asking right there.....
Its not just Forrest man; I just get tired of when the favorite loses instead of giving someone credit for beating him everyone starts picking holes in the favorite. I say if you lose you lose and that is it; I dont wont to hear about how he was out of shape, didnt train hard enough, or had an injured knee. Just deal w/ the fact that they lost and move on.

My biggest problem with the whole thing is people who gave Serra no credit for beating GSP, who was at the top of his game, are putting Forrest on a pedastal for beating Shogun, who was obviously not performing anywhere near where he is capable of.

GSP is my favorite fighter and I have zero excuses for him; he lost and that is it. I dont care how emotionally distraught as Joe Rogan likes to say he was he just strait up lost the fight....end of story. If they were to fight again I do believe GSP would win but I am not going to discredit Serra for the 1st win. Now on the same token instead of giving Forrest credit for the win people just talk about how Shogun was not his normal self.
