Kos v. Hazelett
Did anyone notice Kos was throwing punches directly at hazeletts knees?
i did it several times in the fight
Kos stand up has matured past going for haymakers w/o setting im impressed with his leg kicks and his aggression, not to mention his chin and his heart and instincts
also, i am a big fan of fighters being emotional it was good to see Kos teared up in the excitement of his win during his interview, and like when he knelt down on the mat face down after the finish, thats always cool

I don’t like the attitude of some of the fans who always like to complain. When they say if you had a quick fight that they wished it was longer and if you have a long fight they say you should have beaten this guy quicker. Some people you just can’t please. If it is so easy, they can put on a glove and do it themselves. I’ll watch them fight.

That was one of the most exciting fights of the night. I thought Hazelett looked very good also, but Koscheck must have a really good chin too, because that knee hit him square in the head and it didn't even seem to faze him that much.

This was far and away my favorite fight live besides the main event.
Koschecks striking is just so wild thou, he seems to throw NOTHING by overhand rights and wild looping haymakers.
Hope they resign him man, really starting to like the guy. Hazeletts going to be GOOD in a few years

Yeah, I was very impressed by Hazelett for doing as well as he did - with one or 2 wins against a guy like Swick or Burkman, I see him slowly working his way into the bottom of the Top 10 - most will disagree with me, but if he's already this good at his age, and he keeps at it, he could have a similar impact to what Huerta did.

It was better IMO. He threw a few combos to compliment the overhead rights, and he even threw a few real nice body shots. Not to mention his kicking, which ended the fight improved as well.

Kos just seems so robotic with his striking man. You can tell hes getting better and better but it just doesnt seem to be natural yet, more of a throw this combo, then throw this, etc. I like the guy and hes def. improving but it will take a little more time, still think hes going to be a champ in a few years

I was listening to Jordan Breen on the post-fight radio show on Sherdog and he said exactly the same thing - that Kos's striking seems so rehearsed, like he's just using the basic combinations he practised in the gym.

LOL That wasnt my opinion, I was just pointing out that Breen had the same thoughts as Rumbin.
Ive just seen the fight and I thought Kos looked pretty good. He recovered well from the onslaught right at the beginning and looked real good when he finished Hazelett.

Uh... did you mean Hazelett? Or did you just come outta left field with a Fitch comment?
