SPOILER* Sadollah vs Dolloway *SPOILER
How Su-Weet it is!!! Amir sees justice and Taps CB in the First Round via another Armbar!! Justice, sweet justice!! Then Dolloway tries to claim he didn't tap!
Let that be a lesson, be darn sure you are done before you even begin to tap. It might be too late to change your mind! Congrats to Amir - The NEW Ultimate Fighter!!!

In the reply it shows that CBs arm is still bent so isn't in pain, it also shows CB never actully touches amir with the tap and also goes right back to the hand to break it before Herb Dean steps in.. you see guys like Lesnar tapping like little girls and the ref asks if he's tapping but yet you get 1 "half-tap" and not a thing is said.. seems like a joke to me, but Amir had already one once so it's rightfully so that he's the champ..
What a dissapointing fight either way

When you are in an Armbar the refs are going to respond very quickly to a tap. It is simply too dangerous not to do so.

No different then an ankle getting broke though, but yes I agree seems like a more dangerous submission but it's not.

Cody, seriously, when is the last time you heard of a major league MMA guy getting his ankle broken from a sub? I am not trying to be a smart-ass here. I simply cannot remember of ever hearing of it happening. Big Tim showed us what happens when you don't tap to an armbar. Bas Rutten says an foot lock is all about the pain, not the damage.
Ref is gonna stop an Armbar "tap" fast. Pretty much every time.

Hell, CB's arm was bending....the other way. He tapped and you can't blame the ref for the stop

And the winner is...
Amir gets the 6 figures and CB gets the Oscar I'm sorry, but that was a tap and he acted like a douche afterwards.
extra props to Amir for coming out to an Aphex Twin song!

I believe in the Manny G fight with the ankle lock. I believe there was bad bad damage to the losing fighter. I also personally been injured from a Heel hook.
The tap was real and it was a good call by CB to tap and the ref to stop it. Cudo's to Amir......... Great job !!! WarDawg

Thanks for the info WD. As I said, I was unaware of anyone getting a broken ankle from a foot look submission attempt. I didn't realize the guy who fought Manny got a broken foot/ankle. I must have missed it in the post fight injury suspension list.
A question WD. Do you fight in the UFC? Kudos and props if the answer is yes.

Well my boy lost. That Amir is one slick fighter.
As for the tap, he tapped Amir leg one time...that constitutes a tap. CB was just pissed - I don't know what he was thinking. How'd he get caught...again...this time right off the bat.
I'm so glad the FF staff didn't get a line up on this fight. Thanks slackers.
Shred - you seem very excited. Please tell me you cleaned up that mess next to your computer?

Naaahhhhhh, not THAT excited. But I was very happy for Amir to win. It seemed like the UFC was determined to push CB to win TUF 7, giving him a second chance and all, against a guy who had already beaten him..... I was expecting a Bisping/Hamill like decision if it went to the judges.
Fortunately Amir didn't give them the opportunity to screw him again.

Nah, he tapped; the position had improved within a split second after he had already tapped but I agree he had changed his mind but it was too late b/c he had already tapped once and that is enough.....
Kudos to Amir though, he won the show purely from heart and resielience combined w/ almost no experience and mid-level skill. That is potentually a very dangerous combination b/c he can get experience and develope skill, the 1st 2 attributes though you either have or you dont. I really had a feeling that no matter how impressive DB was Amir would find a way to win at some point. The kid just has the "it" factor and I believe he will be a contender in a couple of years.....

No, no Bisping crap...
What should Dana have done to determine a finalist to face Amir?
Would you really have let Jesse stuck around?

Yup, had a torn knee ligament.
CB tapped. Whether it be one tap or multiple, it was a tap. The ref looked as if he wanted to step in the first time CB's arm was extended but he refrained. He had a close watch on it the whole time and when CB tapped, he was there immediately. Very fair stoppage and I'm happy for Amir.
