You're right man, that was an awesome performance. Joe got dominated.
I was rooting for George coming into the fight, but I really felt Joe would be able to put him on his back and avoid subs to get the decision! Really glad I got proved wrong!!
AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!! OI!! OI!! OI!!
Awesome performance by Soti! Really put on a grappling clinic with Stevenson. Another win or two and he could be fighting for the title.

Yeah it was a great fight.
I was pleasantly surprised that the card overall was very entertaining and the Aussie crowd was OUTSTANDING!

Yeah George gained a fan after that fight.

I was very impressed with George. Not only did he beat Stevenson but he totally dominated him every round. I look forward to seeing who he's going to fight next. I wish Diego stayed at 155 since I think a George Sotiropoulos/Diego Sanchez fight would have been great.
Oh yeah, Soti was very impressive; too bad Kenny is already tied up, that would be a very interesteing fight.....
I was really impressed with Sotiropoulos -- I didn't know much about him before the fight, but he looked great standing and on the ground against a tough opponent in Stevenson.
Absolute domination by George!!!
Mrs. Cap's been wanting us to study BJJ for awhile now (no time + not enough money = keep dreaming), and after watching this fight (and her calling out each position change before Rogan), she's even more enthusiastic.
Awesome win for Sotiropoulos. I'd love to see him against KenFlo after Kenny finishes Gomi.

Damn! I still haven't seen this fight.![]()
The only thing that increases in value when shared is knowledge!
Just re-watched.
Did it look like George was getting tired about halfway through Round 3?
Hope that's not a cardio issue, because otherwise he looked flawless in that fight.

Damn that was impressive! George has been one of my favourite fighters for a while now, but I have to admit I was a bit anxious for him, coming into this fight with a much more experienced Joe Stevenson.
I love watching George in action, especially his ground game. I am a big follower of 10th Planet JJ, and I use the Rubber Guard myself, so it's nice to see it used inside the Octagon. Georges ground game is a pleasure to watch, but to be honest, I wasn't expecting him to contpletely dominate Joe on the ground! Get the better of him on the ground - yeah, but not completely dominate him lol.
Be very interesting to see who the put George up against next, but he's definately taken a massive step up the ladder now.

When you’re on your death bed, it’s those stories, those little adventures that are going to be the things that you remember.
