Guillard/Stevenson spoiler
Stevenson first round sub, just as I predicted. I am so glad Melvin was given a lesson by 'Daddy'. Very impressive indeed... title shot forthcoming for Joe I think.

Joe Stevenson handled Melvin Guillard with real class and poise. Melvin made a HUGE mistake by not doing the glove touch until the referee forced him to do it. Why be so stupid as to motivate the opponent that way? I like Melvin. He will definately be back bigger and better, but he made a terrible mistake. He lit a fire and could not put it out. But, he did defend that leg lock really well. He just stuck his neck out at the wrong moment. Stevenson had pure timing on his side with that left jab and guillotine choke.

first, melvin came in HUGGGGGGEEEE... SO much bigger then joe... i cant believe how much bigger then almost all 170llbers he looks... but, like i always say, he is still very raw, and sloppy.... joe did exactly what he should have and easily won... melvin will be the guy that KOs people or loses easily like this IMO...
and i agree joe was very classy... he does have a great future at 155

Guillard's skill level will never match his ego.
Joe Daddy just looks great every time out. I'm dying to see him match with the Muscle Shark. That's going to be a battle and a half.

oh yes... that is SO hard to call.... both are so strong (sherk a little stronger) and so skilled (joe a little more skilled) but both nearly a clone of one another... cant wait

Joe was determined as hell but he kept his composure by staying nice and relax which definetly helped his timing.....

Nice ownage by Daddy.
Shut him up there.
You could immediately see that Melvin was gonna be in trouble when he dived in with his head down. Joe landed a couple nice shots before that too. Good job.

The only phrase I caught was something like "you hit me good" and pointed to his chin. He seemed to be trying to encourage Melvin and make him feel a little better. Amazing that Joe showed that much compassion after Melvin's antics. Nice guy for sure.

I think he was asking him if he was ok while Melvin was still on top of him, then later was just trying to make him feel better. Pretty anticlimactic after Melvin talked so much ****. Hopefully this will shut him up from now on.

This was a poor matchup in styles for Melvin...I'm sure there are a lot of other LWs that will have their hands full against Guillard.
I also don't think that Stevenson would match up well with Sherk...I would give the strength, wrestling and cardio to Sean with the standup being pretty even.
