Serra must feel like he's on top of the world right now. Good for him.
Matt Hughes and Matt Serra.
So the underdog and the penis are going head-to-head.
It'll be like a good cop and a bad cop.
Serra:
"Matt Hughes is a dick. He is a talented dick."
You don't say.
Serra must feel like he's on top of the world right now. Good for him.
.....I really do not like this at all. Those would be that last two. I think Hughes is just not right for TV and Serra starts to get on alot of peoples nerves. I can also just see GSP coming in as a guest trainer now to.

I dont like the coach selections, just really dont make much sense to me. Koschek and Sanchez would have been better imo.
Im a 'tard....just skip this post.
Yes, it was posted by me but I didnt see you had already started one about the same thing or would have just psoted in this one. I looked all over when I made that to make sure I wasnt double posting and have no clue how I missed your post. I didnt see it untill a few minutes ago actually....sorry.
Hughes already coached. i know the coaches have to fight and hughes is up next in line for a title shot, but this doesn't interest me. kos and diego wouldn't be good coaches and gsp was already on tuf as well. i don't have any good suggestions for this.(if you want a beef tuf have dana talk matt laimon into coaching opposite serra with laimon getting a title shot, THAT was beef)
The reason I think this is dumb is:
1) Dana and Serra and Hughes have all said in the past couple of weeks that Hughes will almost certainly be Serra's first title defense.
2) Now Dana has said that they'll fight at the end of TUF 6.
3) The end of TUF 6 will be several months from now.
4) Does that mean that Serra won't defend his title until the Fall / Winter? That's ridiculous.
5) If they give GSP a rematch first, and he wins the belt back, won't that take a lot of steam out of the Hughes-Serra match?
6) This doesn't make much sense, and I don't know why I did this post in numerical point form.
Unless they do a special summer TUF season, then that means that Serra will not defend his title until October or November or maybe even December. The TUF-4 Finale was on November 11, 2006. The season was August 17th to November 11th. So, if they have the Serra-Hughes match at the Finale for TUF-6, then we will have to wait until November. If they wait until after the Finale, then it will be December.
Either way it sucks. Also, it sucks that Serra and Hughes are coaches. Mostly Hughes, because he has already coached. And, because I hate the way they have the coach versus coach thing going on in most of the seasons. I want it to be about the fighters, not the coaches, on that show.

And Hughes was also a lame coach who put up guys from his team that he wanted to get rid of -- hardly the way a coach is supposed to think when putting matches together.
Serra's great. Big Apple v. Farm Country.
I do think they'll be doing the TUF soon. Having Serra's first title defense at year end or close to it wouldn't be a wise move.
Tito v. Ken seemed like it would be about the coaches but that one wasn't just about those two at all.
Great idea, good picks for coaches and I can't wait to see it. One thing; doesn't this delay the fight between serra and hughes tremendously?
reason 6 to not watch tuf!
