he had silva staggering 3 times during the fight. but couldnt keep the fight standing.
and 2 fights ago (the one b4 he lsot) he destroyed the other guy with knees.. kongo is an amazing striker, watch some of his clips before u get on ur "i know everything about MMA" high horses
scmma is right, if kongo even learned to sprawl, forget submissions he would rip apart the heavyweight division and be a top contender

I do think that Cro Cop vs Kongo would be an exciting fight but I think it would be an almost perfect fight for Cro Cop. I also think AA vs Kongo would be pretty cool.
Other than that I would like to see Shogun vs Liddell, Cro Cop vs Sylvia, Henderson vs Silva and Gomi vs Penn.
|
well they are both good strikers since they both have K-1 experience but i think Cro Cop would kill him with ground and pound. As far as standing i think Cro Cops kicks are better while i give the Striking to Kongo. This actually would be a good fight.

I think Cro Cop vs Arlovski would be like a cartoon fight with them fighting in a cloud of dust just scrappin the whole time. Both have freakish strength, speed, and striking.
I know everyone is going **** a brick for me saying this but i think chuck vs fedor would be insane. Chuck wants it to happen and although many see that as one sided i would definately never count the iceman out. But remember this is most exciting fights not most even or long lasting. I think they both finish guys in the most devistating fashion so it would be chaotic.

yeah i think Chuck and Fedor would be good, and your right about people saying"Oh Fedor all the Way" Chuck has amazing hands, he has knockout power or would i like to say "They will F*** You Up Hands" his fight with tito was just complete domination, both fights actually. Against randy, that was a massive win twice. He is a good Fighter. Fedor on the other hand is way more well rounded than chuck, Fedor has a good chance of catching Chuck with his hands and chuck is dead on the ground.

LOL, I think we're pretty much all in agreement (except jdaniels) Cro Cop is the far superior striker. Mirko has KO power in both hands and both feet. He has some of the meanest kicks this world has ever seen. Neither of those statements apply to Kongo.
Kongo is a good striker, but to compare him to Cro Cop (probably the best striker in MMA right now) is just silly. I would, however, love to see this fight, it would play into Mirko's game perfectly and we would be able to see his striking at its best.

Yeah, he's a good technical striker, very capable of making people stagger. And he has deadly knees (well, all knees are deadly...being 6'4 just makes them easier to use). And Cro Cop has better technique, power, and speed with both punches and kicks.
Now Cheick, stop fooling around on our forum and go learn some take down defense.

Kongo is on and off hard to predict which fighter he will show up with. I think that exciting fight is coming up soon, Chuck Liddell Vs. Rampage Jackson. But I won't rank it the most exciting fight. It's hard to pick. One of the most exciting fights would be Diego Sanchez Vs. Karo Parysian, the more I watch this fight, the more I like these 2 fighters, for what they are willing to come in the ring to do, with all they got.

^^^^What I was gonna say.
Kongo has good stand-up but he's no Bonjasky.
Crocop has beaten (and finished) better strikers than Kongo.
And he's more well-rounded.
He would definitely be the favorite. But it's still fighting.
I say 7 times out of 10 Crocop wins that fight.
Anyway, I'm always slightly suspicious when someone's first post is something like this. But he did get his discussion.

Cheick Kongo will never hold the belt in my opinion, specially not if Chuck Moves up weight, Chuck would destroy Kongos striking ability. Crocop would also destroy Kongo in my opinion he has awesome striking abiliy shame about his defensive abilities, but Kongo has worse striking and nothing else going for him.
Most Exciting fight:
Chuck vs Crocop
Chuck vs Fedor
Chuck vs Franklin
any fight with Chuck in it to be honest, the guys good to watch.
Bisping vs Jardine/Griffin/Chuck - both would go out banging in my opinion and I like watching Bisping fight (hes from the UK )

Yoshida, is a gold medalist in Judo, hardly a chump. His MMA career might not be that good, but he has beaten his share of good fighters. Mark Hunt is a K1 Legend and Kevin Randleman is also no chump. None of those figthers are chumps. When did you start watching MMA? Four months ago? AikaImmortal already schooled you in who Mirko has fought in K1, so no need to go into that.
And why did you leave out fighters like Fedor, Barnett, Silva or Big Nog? Because your trying to manipulate your own pathetic arguement. Do me a favor post Gonazaga´s record now. Tell me who he has fought that is better than any of CroCop´s opponents.

By 'lots of chumps' Im guessing you meant 'lots of people Ive never heard of'
How on earth you can call Vovchanchyn, Aleks, Coleman, Silva, Yoshida, Fujita, Sakuraba, Barnett etc etc "chumps" is beyond me.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt tho and assume you dont know much about MMA outside of the UFC.
