Cheik Kongo vs. Cro Cop

id throw my money down on kongo, i think he is a better striker

In reality, ChuckvsShogun and GuillardvsThomas are the best i can think of.

I actually agree with Hendo vs. Anderson or Hendo vs Liddell.

Also I would LOVE to see Shogun vs. Liddell and Fedor vs. Crocop II.

Wow...five replies and still no replies to the "Kongo is a better striker" comment.

I do think that Cro Cop vs Kongo would be an exciting fight but I think it would be an almost perfect fight for Cro Cop. I also think AA vs Kongo would be pretty cool.

Other than that I would like to see Shogun vs Liddell, Cro Cop vs Sylvia, Henderson vs Silva and Gomi vs Penn.

Im pretty sure Hendo would destroy Anderson.

In my mind the most exciting fight right now would be Kang vs GSP or Krazy Horse vs Guillard.

jdaniels911. Kongo is not a better striker than Crocop. You will struggle to find one person in the universe who agrees with you besides Kongo and his family. Anyways, welcome to Fight Forum. Hopefully you will learn some more about MMA so you can understand that the post you made seemed awfully stupid

after watching last fight it leaves me wondering if cro cop is really THAT good. I think gonzaga is gonna be champ for at least a few title defences (once he wins)

after the fight i checked out all the fighters cro cop has fought. lotsa chumps.

kongo is an incredible striker. like i said, id throw my money down on kongo.

Did you just say he fought a bunch of chumps? I think he fought 80% of his fights against UFC upper card opposition. I can see everyone with their flame throwers out.

Not only that, but u do realize cro cop has only fought 2 fights in the UFC. One against "chump" eddie sanchez and one against gonzaga

Wanderlei Silva is overrated IMO. He was good be for the sport evolved over the last number of years.

About the Kongo - cro cop thing I would big Kongo he really impressed me. He is an incredible stand up fighter. Far better tech. sound than cro cop but of course cro cop throws the one of the deadliet kicks I vae ever seen (besides Gabriel Gonzaga of course). Over all though If Kongo can get some better ground game he will tear every one up he could be amazing!

Oh come on, Cheick Kongo may have steady technique but the dude is slow, and he doesn't put enough force into his hits. Those body kicks he landed were weak, Silva wasn't even phased. Did you see the welt on Gonzalga from the one kick Cro Cop landed?

He has one numerous kickboxing and mauy thia titles. This guy knows what he is doing standing up. Although has a weak sprawl and needs loads of brushing up in his ground game. I am telling you he can be great.
