Koscheck imo has the best takedowns. Seems like no one could stop him when he shoots.
Also Couture, Hughes have good ones too.

Couture because I like his inside leg trips in the clinch.

Simple, basic and effective!

Love em!

Fedor and Randy are the first 2 that come to mind.

I'd say Koscheck, Hughes, and Couture.

Josh Koscheck has the best takedowns in the game when he makes it his game , I don't really like his boring style although he is Improving each fight with his standup but were talking about a division 1 42-0 wrestling champion If he drives at you he will take you down what he does when he gets you down as far as MMA isn't that Impressive but the question was who has the best take down .

For takedowns that win fights, Tito back in the day did that KO slam on Tanner, and Frank Shamrock did it to someone (who was that), and theres the famous Rampage KO Arona slam. And also Kerr KO'd himself with a slam.

This is hard. So many have great take downs..

Hughes, Monson, Sherk.. But for great throws/takedowns I'd have to say Cung Le..

I can't beleive it took this long before someone mentioned Matt Hughes... when i saw the word 'takedown' I immediately thought of Hughes! He has my vote.

Randy Couture and Kevin Randleman both have awesome takedowns... I remember when Randleman fought Fedor and slammed him hard onto his head, that was possible the best slam i've seen... However Fedor got up like nothing had happened???

When I thought of Hughes I automatically thought of him not being able to take BJ or GSP down.

Dead on right here. Fedor may not seem to have the nicest looking takedowns but cmon who has he not been able to take down.
