What happened to B.J Penn?
I haven't heard anything since he won the title from Matt Hughes.

Is he fighting at all I haven't been able to find anything
after the hughes fight:
win Duane Ludwig: K-1 Romanex
win Rodrigo Gracie: Rumble on the Rock
loss Ryoto Machida: K-1 Hero's
The match against Machida was his last fight to date and it was at the end of march of this year.
Recently BJ has gotten into some legal troubles at the last Rumble on the Rock. He was being charged with assaulting a police officer.

Can't say I miss him at all
I miss BJ in the UFC. And until Hughes beats him, he will always be the welterweight champ in my mind.
On a side note, AikaImmortal and glockmn, are you two the same guy? You have the exact same avatar and it had me confused for a while.
That is why I was wondering about him I really want to see a rematch with Hughes..Not the same person...I was looking for Royce or Rich Franklin I couldn't figure out how to get it to work so i borrowed his until i can get one of Rich. I hope you don't mind Aika

He didn't choose to leave. He fought in another organization to stay active and the UFC stripped him of the title.
Thats too bad. Especially considering ho wfar between UFC fights are and how rarely, if ever someone fights in two in a row. It really limits people to not let them fight outside.

I hope they get Penn back, but Dana can also be some what of an As*hole him self, just read about how he treated Tito in last years Full Contact Fighter, I'll find the issue number and post it later, but when you have 2 hard headed people like Penn & Dana dealing with each other, nothing good will ever come of it like a Matt-BJ rematch.
