your just being overly negative... bottom line is over the years tito has been at or near the top year after year after year.... it deserves some respect, since chuck and randy are the only other 2 to stay close to the top for that long... His 3 losses are to quality LHW.. now if he beats rashad im sure people are going to belittle that win as well... regardless, everyone here should be intelligent enough to give him some respect as a top level fighter

No, not being overly negative, I am being overly sarcastic. Besides Randy and Chuck, Tito's wins are against talent that is not considered top 10 or top 5 talent.
To better his stock (instead of fighting Shamrock 3 times), he could have fought legitimate fights against Babalu and Jeremy Horn. But did he ask for those fights? Nope.
If he beats Rashad, I will be impressed. I think the level of Rashad's wrestling skills will be the first that Tito will have seen in some time and will overwhelm him.
BTW, someone mentioned he has one more fight left on this contract... He actually has two, if Dana holds him to it...

The trashing that he gave Forrest in the first round will go down in history as a clear example of devastating domination over a same weight class fighter. That he gassed out after that is fact (and I know some will say that the fight has three rounds and blah blah blah), but he certainly proved who the better fighter was and deserved the win. And, for those who do not seem to recall now, Forrest was perceived as a much larger threat then than he is now after losing to Jardine.

BTW, for those who have forgotten, Tito has only lost to 4 fighters: Liddell, Couture, F. Shamrock (3 top of the top fighters) and Mezger when he was a kid, in his second fight.
Maybe Ortiz is a genius when it comes to managing his career, but I do not think Evans has faced anybody of the quality of the first 3 (or of Ortiz for that matter).
In mma anything can happen and Evans may score a victory but, if you are looking at the numbers and want to bet some cash, bet it on Ortiz. Especially is they get carried away and put Tito in an underdog position, with a nice payout.
